Nikko at Riteway was awesome to deal with. He got back to us immediately, and stayed in touch through the whole process. There was a small issue after installation that he handled immediately. If you need a gate or a fence quote, Nikko was great to work with.

We spent nearly $10,000 on our vinyl fencing and after 2 years the hinges and latches that they supplied are falling apart and we couldn’t be unhappier with the service, product and professionalism shown by Chris and the guys at Rite-Way. After waiting 7 months for our fence to be installed Chris ended our fence in the wrong location even after being told multiple times on multiple occasions exactly where we wanted it to end. Then when we complained about his mistake he threatened to charge us an extra $500 for a fence panel that doesn’t even exist!! When my wife showed Chris the hinges and latches that we’re falling apart he told her that he couldn’t get replacement parts because Rite-Way no longer deals with that company because their products are poor quality and fall apart! All he did do was tell my wife where she could go to purchase some better quality parts that we could install ourselves. When I asked Chris why this wasn’t covered under warranty he told me that Rite-Way’s warranty is on the vinyl fence itself only and not the parts that actually hold the fence up. Wow! I’m still not sure if these guys are scam artists or just really incompetent but either way they’ve lost our business.

They provide the product and the service they advertise however they bill excessive specially for shipping, and after it is brought to their attention they agree to refund and still then they do restocking or withholding reduction values as to not refund the full value and further you have to track the refund otherwise it will not happen

April 10th, 2018 had the Rite-way crew arrive, checked out the job, were very friendly and courteous and I felt confident that they knew their jobs. Made my down payment of 50 percent and the job began. First day went well, I was impressed that they were concerned about the automatic sprinkling system and made sure they weren't in contact with the underground pattern. Second day, I thought there was some tension in the air, appeared as one possibly teaching the other and there being a disagreement about it.When they were done I was taken on a tour of their work. This fence was specifically built for small dogs which they did a very good job, as the fencing was to the ground. When coming to the side gate, it was obvious that the gate was not the correct size. To correct the issue, there was a pipe pinned to the side of the entrance way, (see enclosed pic). I was told this was a temporary fix until they have built the proper size. Unbeknownst to me, this was never reported to Tyler Cartier, Sales Agent. After the inspection and we said our goodbyes, I waited for a week or more before I placed a call to Tyler who knew nothing about it. He came out a few days later which was now April 30th, agreed that a new fence was needed, also didn't like the way they put in a piece of the chain link fencing which I wasn't really concerned about and then after a very convincing chat that all would be taken care of, I paid the remaining balance. Isn't it strange how fast people can move when there's money to be had. After a week I called Tyler as to when I'd see the job completed and also noticed a part of the fence was shaky due to the cap on the pole not being stabilized. It was obvious by his attitude that he was not wanting to hear anymore about it. I also noticed that there was an advert in Rite-way Kamloops website looking for a qualified person for the job so I have not bothered him. I write this in good faith and trust that Rite-way will make this right, the Rite-way......
