This company is very professional and stick to their word. If you have questions or issues they respond in a timely manner and make things right! I would highly recommend Fresh Coat and will definitely use them in the future.

I was falsely lured into this company with promises of buzz words like “quality, professionalism, reliability, and cleanliness” and statements like we only hire the best and do it right. Then when it is was all said and done, the OWNER (Eric) tells me, “The work is within industry standards.” I signed up for 5-star level painting, not acceptable per industry standard. I told the manager my preferred communication was text and he refused to text me and opted for a phone call instead. That’s highly suspicious behavior. I recommend recording ALL conversations in person or via phone with this company. The proposal even stated I would have “peace of mind.” It has been a NIGHTMARE working with this company. I had to call in sick I was so stressed out because they did this while I was actively selling my house!! I thank God I did not use them to paint the exterior of my house and only (unfortunately) hired them for a few small projects. Eric’s attorney kept pushing me to sign a release and I refused multiple times. She then emailed me and said, “I strongly caution you in your statements against Fresh Coat Painters. Action will be taken against you for any defamatory statements made and will be pursued zealously.” I have never in my life been intimidated by an attorney to discourage me to write a review. This is America and you will NOT infringe on my first amendment rights. How pathetic. I wonder if that worked on others and that’s why the Google Review star level is as high as it is? I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!!Update - response to Eric:You could have spared me the fake “cheer” as you were simultaneously screwing me over!! Spare me your lies, false narratives, and libel of my name. It is my God given American right to review terrible companies I have experienced while living in MN. I have had exponentially more positive experiences with companies here. I only take the time to write bad reviews (many people do) because I am an extremely busy woman. At NO point did Rick, Sean, or Dan tell me or my aunt I had “pre-existing wall imperfections” that could not be repaired because that is a LIE. Rick did not spot test our multiple paint cans to our wall AS HE SAID HE WOULD when doing the estimate. Rick told me THE DAY BEFORE that I need to (leave work early) to get the paint or the project wouldn’t be done the next day. YOUR employee Sean should have STOPPED painting the wall when he realized it was the wrong color. Instead, he continued AND painted another wall he should not have touched!! Then he tried to play my aunt for a fool by saying, “the other wall color looks different because the adjacent wall faded over time.” Dan who was the one correcting Sean’s work did not fully paint part of the wall above the door and used the wrong paint color to touch it up. You shamed and blamed me on the phone for choosing the wrong color and asked for MORE money to correct it, yet TWO of your employees made the same error!! I’m a nurse, not a painter. I’m sorry I called them idiots, but I was at my wits end with this company at that moment in time. Dan REFUSED to remove the incorrect caulk that Sean put in the kitchen because “it's too time consuming.” If you’re not going to do it right, DON'T DO IT AT ALL in the future and save the next customer the headache. It causes damage and costs more to correct it versus paying someone to do it correctly the first time. Why would it take a third visit?? That’s pathetic. Consider yourself lucky for getting $800 of my HONEST living money with your $150 off. If I had the time, I would have taken you to court. This review will stay up for the life of Google…so forever!

We had a great experience with Eric and Dan. They both were very friendly, information, straight forward and very respectful. I would refer them to anyone that is wanting painting done! We were very pleased with our final product!!

Fresh Coat painters provided excellent professional communication and service, and was very responsive to my particular needs and requests. Nice finished work product,too!

Every single person we had an interaction with from there was very pleasant and professional.They performed excellent work on our project and it was completed in a very timely manner! We are very happy with this company and highly recommend them! We will call on them again in the future for sure!

I’ve painted before but had no I interest in painting my two story living room. So I got a price for that and a couple other rooms. I ended up having them do it all. I am more than happy with the work they have done. If I ever decide to remodel anything in the future, I’ll definitely be giving them a call!
