I had a confirmed appointment with JTEngineering to assess the damage to some roof trusses in a 4-plex in a rural location. I had agreed to his fee of $2000. Three tenants and three other people were involved in making this happen in addition to the 2 of us and all the details were in place. On the day of the appointment he cancelled because it was snowing and he said he did not feel comfortable driving. There was no snow on the highways and the snow was melting as it fell. Too bad he said. “I just don’t feel comfortable.”
