Home Energy Squad

It's -2F in Minnesota and we got an Energy Squad visit by Stian K. and Anthony Y.I learned a lot about this visit. We have two bedrooms that tend to run cold and we thought it was related to wall insulation and windows. The squad did note some attic insulation was uneven.We got great advice on our current water heater too..it is not old but some watch outs.I did also like the Led lightbulb and the smart thermostat installation. What a little treat!Things that are a bit tricky to know if you don't have all the right modern technology that can diagnose your home issues like the Energy Squad.

Home Energy Squad is a fantastic service! Maddie was super friendly and knowledgeable. The first thing she did was outfit our home with energy savings stuff (LED's, weather strips for pesky door drafts, smart thermostat). She also did an energy inspection to let us know how efficient our home is and whether there were any improvements to consider. I'd recommend a HES visit to anyone.

THESE FOLKS ARE THE COOLEST! The squad came to my home, installed LED bulbs wherever possible AND new faucet aerators and shower heads for a really reasonable price. My city also offered a discount on the visit, which made it extremely worthwhile. The team explained the tests they did and what they found, and the audit report provided is so easy to understand. After working with them, you can access their energy advisor team, which helps connect you with approved contractors to do any larger-scale improvements AND they assist with getting the rebate offered by your utility company. This is such an amazing service everyone should take advantage of!

Had a great and informative home energy audit. Very inexpensive for the homeowner when done through Xcel or Centerpoint, but was very informative on ways to prevent ice dams, save energy and save money on bills. Very professional.

This is a great way to find out how efficient your home is currently. Recommendations are given with potential rebates from qualified-eligible contractors and the ability to apply for 0% financing to complete the work. I highly recommend the Energy Squad. It will save you money on your utilities...and who doesn't want to do that!

I was skeptical of the Home Energy Squad, if I'm being honest. Something came through my email which said I could get $50 off a home inspection, immediately I thought the inspections must be pretty expensive. Turns out the inspection was $100, with my coupon it was $50.What did that $50 get me, for my home (YMMV)- 32 new lightbulbs, replacing all non-LED lightbulbs in my home- 1 new lower-flow shower head- 1 new lower-flow aerator for my kitchen sink- comprehensive report of where the energy deficiencies are in my home (turns out whoever installed the trim on my back door didn't seal it; heating the outside is expensive.)- knowledgeable and patient walkthrough of my options ( much better performance to pay for wall/attic insulation than to replace all my windows (my original idea) and about 1/4 the price.)- Apparently i could have gotten a thermostat that is controllable, but I already had one of those.Well worth the money and the time - highly recommend, especially if you get a crew as wonderful as mine.

It was so worth my time to have the Energy Squad out. I now know what my next improvements need to be. They also changed bulbs, weather stripped my doors and changed a shower head. The infrared scan showed me where I need to seal my attic.
