The campground itself is really nice with private spots and close access to the river. However, if you have kids or dogs that are afraid of fireworks or have PTSD triggered by loud noises, I suggest staying away. When we asked the next morning about the fireworks the night prior, we were pointed to the subtle sign amongst other signs that says fireworks may occur and were told they happen most weekends. So, we won't be back but if that doesn't bother you you'll be good.

Great little campground. Lots of trees so therefore shade and the river is great for floating. Privately owned so priced much better per night ($25). Love it here❤️

Great sites, all are nice secluded except right at the front where the water is. They are not the greatest unless you don't mind sharing and close to your neighbour. Nice hiking and beautiful scenery.

Camped three nights at this very nice, well shaded campground. Perfect place to launch a canoe/kayak and float to Mckenzie Crossing, Dry Island or even Tolman Bridge.Lots of double sites, good firepit and cooking grate. Staff were friendly and helpful. There are no serviced sites.

Huge shoutout to the Mose family who runs this park. Stayed On labor day weekend on the Monday showed up without a reservation and the gave me the nicest spot in the park.1A. Right by the water and huge no neighbours.Mentioned to Mr. DUSTIN Mose that the previous campers left garbage had a laugh about Elnora School strictness on their backpacking camping procedures; and how these campers obviously did notGo to ELNORA school, and by the time we got back from the Twidales fromSupper ( great chickens for sale ) it was gone! Wow! Kindness does Exist. There hasBeen some changes over the years! IceOn site, Propane and a shower house thatTakes loonies. It feels more like a private campground now rather than bare bones municipal; but pretty nice spot. Nice playgrounds.Huge firewood supplied for $10 and we had aBig bon fire no complaints !!!Will be back!!!!

Great area, sites a very well trees which helped with the shade. River is absolutely amazing.however it appears most sites are to narrow for modern trailers with slide outs. There is also a lot of over hang branches over the roadways.Amazing staff, we will definitely be going back to camp again.

Only a 50 min drive from Red Deer. Nice location right down by the river, however when you down in there you are out of cell range. Sites are good. Some seem to be built for when trailers had no slides. Owners can maybe clear out some of the small trees in the individual sites to make room your pushouts. Picnic tables are all really nice in every site. If you are into geocaching, there is one within walking distance and couple more that are a short drive away. A few sites right down by the river, but does not appear to be any privacy between those sites. Good shower house on location. Will for sure go back again.

Such a great campground, AMAZING owners. We had a group of 6 adults and a young toddler. Everyone in our group was happy and felt the weekend went wonderfully. Everyone respects the quiet hours, and the campground is wonderfully kept. The only issue we came across (and it was completely our fault) is that there's no tap on the debit machine. But saying that, the owners were amazingly helpful with that, and made our trip as seamless as possible. We will ALL be back!

Amazing and polite couple running this campground. Very clean campground right on the Red Deer River where you can go wading or floating.

Great camping sites at reasonable rates. This campground is quiet, well cared for and the caretakers are very conscientious. This is also a great put-in or pull out spot for paddlers heading down the Red Deer River.
