never got the name of who helped me, but i came in with a desperate attempt to get my art piece framed as soon as possible for an exhibit i had coming up, and received some of the best customer service i’ve ever experienced. they emphasized how much they love to work with local artists and got right to work on a custom frame that met my budget. after being turned down by a few custom frame shops (due to my deadlines - my own fault), these guys were able to create a frame that brought my piece to life, and had it ready for me to pick up the very next day! insanely impressed by the staff and how incredibly sweet they were, absolutely boosted my confidence since this was my first time getting a painting framed. i cannot recommend this shop enough and cannot wait to come back!

I certainly felt valued, respected and taken care of.Having now received the work ahead of schedule, I am happy to say I couldn’t be more pleased with the end result. Lovely place, small town feel service, high end big city looks. Bravo!

Very good selection of frames and friendly assistant who helped us decide on framing, however I was very disappointed with how my artwork was framed. I had brought in a tan/ brown coloured piece of rugged artwork (Papyrus) with holes in it. I was concerned how this would look as I was told it would need to be glued onto a black foam board and the glue might show through as shiny, but was reassured it would look good when done. When I picked up my piece, the foam board which it was glued to was almost the same colour as the artwork, which took away the rugged effect of it and it looked as if my piece was glued to cardboard. When I had told the staff I was not happy with how it turned out, I was told to come back another day and speak with the framer, as lots could be done to fix the issue. When I returned another day and spoke with the framer I was told that, as it was already glued to the piece, there was nothing more that could be done to rectify this, which frustrated and disappointed me even more. Better communication from the framer as to how my piece would look should have occurred prior to this permanent framing job. Staff were nice, but the very disappointed with how the final piece looked and that I was told to come back, when nothing could be done.

Avenida is a great place. We needed to frame our posters from them London Tate Gallery that we ordered and this time we chose Avenida. We were impressed with the result! They don’t even look like posters now, more like pictures. The ladies are all great, they really tried to do it as if our posters were their own pictures to frame. My special thanks to Terry. She has talent to choose what is best for these particular work. They all spent time to do their best and the result is great. I would givе 6 if I could. Thank you Avenida! I recommend this place if you need professionals.

We have over the years purchased the majority of our art work from Avenida and have been very happy with their kind and helpful staff. Also, I would like to add they stand behind their work if there's a problem. When we are looking for a new piece of art Avenida is our first stop.

Avenida Framing is the best in town. Their staff is super helpful in supporting you when you have a hard time deciding what to do. The owner, Paula Cook, is an amazing lady who runs a great store and gallery! Highly recommend you pop in!

Quite simply the nicest, most honest ladies work here and can work magic. If you need the most complicated of things framed (think guitar or crazy large map) this is your go-to store. They even framed a fish print for me. I love this store and you will get fair pricing and super fast service.

I have been a faithful customer for many years, having had many sports pieces framed at Avenida. I'm very particular with how I like things framed and I can honestly say I have never been disappointed. The head framer Anna, is a pleasure to deal with and is very honest, upfront and realistic. Her work is second to none in Calgary. She's framed many difficult pieces for me in the past and I will continue to bring items in for her to work her magic with.I had a great relationship with the previous owner and the new owner is also quite friendly and very accommodating. I will continue to highly recommend Avenida to friends, family and colleagues. Thank you for the years of quality framing!
