CARSTAR St. Albert

My daughter’s car was rear ended and we used Carstar for repair. They were excellent to deal with from the initial repair inspection/quote to the actual repair/pickup. They even exceeded the expected timeline of 9 days to only 7. The repair looks great. I feel I can safely recommend this business.

Took my Mercedes to Carstar for a hit and run damage. Carstar was one of the shops recommended by TD Insurance. Very pleasant receptionist. Service was excellent in rental car arrangement and repair info provided. The repair work was excellent and even detailed the vehicle before handing it back to me. So impressed I will take me classic Alfa there for a new paint job next summer.

I brought my car in for a warranty claimed that another Carstar location had previously completed (Fort Sask location had permanently closed). I was warrantying the paint work because the paint had started to bubble and it was only repaired about a year ago. St. Albert location was super helpful throughout the warranty process, very friendly staff, and had awesome customer service by doing the repair themselves since the other location closed, providing a rental vehicle during the repair, and doing an great job re-doing the paint work - no questions asked. I really appreciate the warranty process being seamless and their willingness to make sure the service provided was excellent.Moreover, when I picked up my car, the signal light wasn't working. They invited me to bring my car back and double check all my lights were plugged in properly and installed a new bulb for free.Awesome work!

Had our car repaired there after being rear ended. 2.5 months for a 30ish hour job when we were originally told a couple weeks and that all parts were in stock. Then we pick it up with some kind of overspray on it that I was able to get off and the 1/2 tank of fuel it went there with was gone and it wasn't from them driving it around since the millage was correct. I can understand an extra week maybe even two, but 2 months longer is too long. I won't be recommending them to anyone I know looking for repairs.Edit: To reply to your response it was my common law wife's car and if you had of looked a little harder or talked to Hayley who I made clear to I was unhappy with the 2.5 months it took you might have found that all correspondence was through me. Terrible job on detailing the car too, I'm still finding overspray on the car.

Wouldnt even take 30 seconds to talk to me about the car when i popped in. By appointment only" if you were busy id understand but i seen the boys just chilling in the shop. Never been pushed away before. Is my money not good enough for you?"

Not my first poor experience with carstar. They even made the fundamental mistake of not matching the paint. I’ll never use them again.

CarStar did an excellent job!! The staff was professional, very friendly and prompt with their service. They had a rental car arranged for me (however I did not end up needing one because my car was fixed so quickly)! I was pleasantly surprised when I picked up my car…it looked brand new, inside and out! I definitely would return to CarStar and I most certainly recommend them to others.

Excellent experience here. They were very professional and the whole process was as painless as possible, from car rental to repairs. They took care of everything and I am very satisfied with their customer service and the quality of the work. Thank you!

My boyfriend had his 2005 Chevy 2500 Duramax stolen September 22, 2022, he hadn't even own it for a month, thankfully it was recovered the same day. His insurance company had it towed to Carstar for repairs, when we dropped it off we had talked to a guy named Eric and expressed our concerns of it getting stolen again so he had asked him to take some small per cautions such as removing the starter relay and the ignition fuse, even showing him how to.They had to order parts from the states so it was gonna take a bit to start working on it, and with it being an older truck they had to find a used steering column. They finally took it to the mechanical shop around October 24th and sat there for a week. When they returned the truck back to Carstar on the 30th, it was STOLEN from their property. That tells us that they didn't follow our requests, as it was so easy for these thieves to steal the truck as the steering column and ignition still were not fixed, hence why we asked them to remove the certain things.The police got the video footage from the security cameras, but they were useless as the truck wasn't in the cameras view.This has been a very maddening situation, as my boyfriend put so much money, time and worked so hard for that truck for it to be ripped away from him again, especially when we thought it was going to be safe there.
