Walk In Comfort

I purchased two expensive pairs of shoes two days ago with the understanding that I couldtake them home and see if they were acceptable. I have a medical problem with my backand good shoes is a must for being able to walk.I tried to return them today but was told by Bernard James ( claiming he is head of all Walk InComfort Shoes, that the policy is shoes must not be tried on floors in ones home. I haveno idea why I would even purchase these shoes to take home if I could not walk around in them.What good is this 7 day return policy.. Bernard James said the policy is to see if the colour will gowith ones outfit. Well the shoes I purchased were black and tan so not an issue re co-ordinationof outfits. I was the only customer in the store when I was there. I went there to try on a pair of boots that were on clearance because apparently all the boots are sent there at the end of the season when there is a clearance sale because that is there warehouse store. The two salespeople were extremely helpful and kind. The boots were a little difficult to put on and they gave me a shoehorn to take home with the boots that I bought. The sale price was very good and I was very happy with my visit to the store. I would definitely return to this store.

I purchased shoes 2 weeks ago and realized when I got back to Duncan that they weren't the ones I had planned to buy. Jennifer was very accommodating and even though it was a final sale, allowed me to exchange them for a different pair at a time convenient to me. Great service.

What a great store. Very experienced and friendly staff. Willing to hunt around for the sizes of the on-sale shoes that I wanted to buy. And I got a free walk-in comfort shoe horn! Won’t buy shoes anywhere else in the world again.

Make sure you know what you want if you're buying shoes/boots here. Their store has a NO CAMERA" policy so you can't take pictures of any of the shoes to get an opinion from a loved one. They lost a sizable sale because of it. What an absurd store policy - I'm sure it's lost more business than just mine."

Best shoe store ever! I have so much trouble finding shoes that are comfortable, but this store fills the bill. Great staff too! I buy all my shoes here now.

My uncle bought some shoes from this company. The same size, the same brand shoe hes been buying for years. There was a problem with the one shoe and when he went back to ask for the managers assistance in fixing the problem, he was told the shoes were fine and they wont be able to help. Terrible service, will never be supporting this business again.

This store seems to have a good selection of shoes, but the customer service needs improvement. The attitude I received was, “Just tell me which shoe you want to try on, and I’ll see if we have your size.” The black shoe in the style I picked out was not available in my size, but there was no offer to look for my size in the other two colours. I had to ask. She checked, and my size was not available in those, either. No attempt was made to suggest another style, etc. that might fit my needs, which I had told her about. I felt that the sales person was done with me & needed to get back to whatever she was doing earlier. As I prepared to leave, I noticed a tall man emerge from the back of the store to stand at the till. He had a scowl on his face. That seemed to clinch it for me. It was a disappointing, weird experience. I definitely won’t return to this store, and will instead give my business to someone who actually wants it.

the first and last time ever to set foot in this store. after looking for about six months ,purchased shoes from this store had explained to staff that i had very difficult feet to fit due to and old accident , I was told that the shoes i liked were on sale , great i thought , after trying them again at home the shoes did not feel right, i returned to the store only to be told that i could not return them as they were final sale, this was not explained to me , the salesperson said this was the owners policy , i asked him to call the owner and he said he would not do this , because he already knew that the owner would say the same thing, feeling disgusted i left the shop . For a small company they do not believe in customer service full stop and obviously are not bothered with how customers feel. Such arrogant attitude.

This location doesn't carry larger sizes. If you need to buy a larger-sized shoe, they'll send you to a different location in a mall where they apparently hoard the larger shoes for some reason.I'm not driving across town in the hope that another location has what i need; I'll just order shoes from Amazon instead.At least I tried to support a local retailer first.
