Just like Wallenstein General Store, it is another fine example of country Mennonite charm. As a general store should be, with all kinds of practical items. Fun to browse around the store itself. The bakery is the best. Great Mennonite baked goods that are very reasonably priced and very tasty! Their popping corn is very good as well. A nice serene country setting to enjoy on an outing with beautiful countryside driving. A must to visit!

Cashier not wearing mask. Running all over the store handling food.When asked why they are not wearing a mask laughed and said oh I can't wear one all day.Me: is it not a requirement?Answer well I guess I can't work then.Me: well I guess we will not be coming back.Clearly the rules set in place for all of Canada need not apply here.Not worth getting sick.

I've limited myself to the baking section of the store. But all the praise you read here in these reviews is well deserved. The long johns are worth the drive to Floradale, but you need to get there early or risk missing out. The pies and coffee cakes are reasonably priced and delicious too, so chances are you will never have a wasted trip. ;)

Went in simply for coffee cream and sour cream, $38 dollars later and I left with chocolate covered almonds, homemade pepperoni, pack of freezies and oh a freshly baked pecan pie

Amazing sticky buns! And there are other mouth-watering baked goods in a lovely baking room in the back. They take cash only and are closed on Mondays (and Sundays). In season there is often very reasonably (or even very cheap!!) fruit available too.
