This is my wife's store but you just won't meet a women happier than her when she's at work serving her customers. She built the business by herself from day one. Lots of thought and hard work. It's not only the Japanese way...it's Kaoru's way!Ok I know...Bias review!

The shop owner, Kaoru is extremely friendly and helpful and the tea selection is amazing! Prices are very reasonable as well. We stayed for a bit after purchasing and chatted with Kaoru - she seemed genuinely interested in getting to know her customers and talked about all the work she puts in to source the best teas. We will definitely be returning in the future!!

I have been drinking the tea I purchased from cha cha tea for about a week. Absolutely delicious and high quality. The owner Kaoru is a very friendly, knowledgeable and just all around a lovely person. People the love high quality loose leaf tea, stop at cha cha tea.

Kaoru hosted an amazing tea tasting for my book club. She was so welcoming and we were all impressed and appreciative of the effort she put in to ensure it was a success (she even bought the book- The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane- and had tea that was featured in the book as our tastings). Thanks Kaoru!

I visited the shop last week with my mom and was very warmly greeted by the shop owner who immediately offered us some very tasty samples of a very premium Japanese green tea! Very reasonable prices with a cozy atmosphere. I don't live in Kingston anymore but visit often, and I will definitely visit this shop again next time I am in town! If you live in Kingston and are serious about your tea, this is the place to go.

I went there for a book club and learned about the tea that was in the book. The tea was great. The book club was great. And especially meeting the owner and the other people who attended.
