Chamakese Resort

The campsites here are quite beautiful. They are well treed and fairly private. Facilities were decent and staff friendly. Beach was ok as well.

Me and my family have been going here for 20 plus years. Unfortunately, I've seen a steady decline. The campgrounds have become the party spot for the , near by, reserve. My family has been driven away by noise and dangerous activities 3 years in a row now. We will never return. Best and worst memories I've ever had. The beach was great, until the locals started parking their cars, quads etc on the beach. The campsites are beautiful (minus the loud parties, wreckless driving, fighting etc). The person who owns the campground stays at lac euclaire , if that says something! We've experienced everything from theft , harassment, altercations ...you name it. The last time I was here I was afraid for my life. We can only afford to go once a year and we had to leave at 4 am to head home.

Overall a nice place but somewhat mismanaged. Has much potential to be truly nice

Girlfriends family has a cabin up there and I always enjoy spending some time there.

I am so glad it is back being run by a family member again. My brother's and dad have done a really great job!! As a matter of fact my dad Eben had a big part in the building of the campground

Beautiful lake and great fishing! However; watch out for thief's! There is many break-in all year around and especially in the winter. This problem has been going on for many years

Beautiful well kept campground. Clean showers, plenty of outhouses. Has playground for kids, and can fish and swim in the lake.

I'm giving this place a 4 star Almost a 3 but it has the potential to be a 5. It's a diamond in the ruff. The setting is beautiful but the resort needs a little face-lift and clean up of old delapitated structures. Playgoround equipment needs to be updated. Beach needs proper waste disposal and change rooms. If the beach was groomed, harrowed once in a while to clean up washed up debris from the lake would be nice. The grounds are mowed and we'll kept otherwise. Make these small improvements and my review would go to a 5.
