Normand is one of the few surviving traditional Montreal hotdogs and french fry eatery.As far as I'm concerned heat is a major component of hotdogs and unlike so many other places hear the hot dogs are reliably piping hot. French fries excellent.In the way it's a bit like a people's museum when you walk in you are stepping back in time.Located in up-and-coming trendy Verdun.If you're a hot dog lover and you happen to be in Verdun well worth the detour.

My absolute favorite place to visit when I'm in Montreal. A trip is never complete unless we've been here at least once daily. The ground beef & onion poutine is absolutely delicious paired with a toasted hot dog.

Stopped in to grab a take-out lunch. The staff was all very pleasant. I ordered a poutine and a Stewart's black cherry.The poutine was good. I was surprised to see that they top it with fries. I guess it's to prevent cheese from sticking to the lid? I've never seen that before. Personally, I would rather have had a bit more cheese than the fries, but the idea was interesting.I don't think I'd say it'sthe best" poutine in Verdun

I can't believe I've been living in Verdun for about 30 years and I've never been here. Old school fast food joint. Ordered our typical (poutine, Italian poutine and a couple of steamies), came to a little over 30$ with tax and tip. Order was prepared quickly.For medium poutines, they looked a bit smaller than at other places.Taste is very good, but the Italian poutine could have used more sauce. Fries were excellent, steamies too.

So I've been eating Dilallo Burger for a while now as my fast food go-to with an occasional order at the LaSalle Coq-O-Bec and my 3rd choice Roasters BBQ and I decided to try something new because even the best things in the world get old. I really wish I hadnt. I am feeling the saying now Dont fix what aint broken". I ordered from here because their menu on facebook claims Radio Energie 94.3 FM once said "best poutine in montreal" hahahahahaha.. what a joke. That cant be true

For real, this is our family's favorite burger spot in the city BY FAR. The Burger Normand is simply DEVINE.Big fans of thekr Chicken Poutine as well.Both are must haves

Poutine: small and sft fries (not crispy), brown sauce (not a whole lot of sauce but they make up for it in cheese; who can complain about that!). Portions are reasonable, price is more than adequate (7.50$ taxes in in May 2022). Friendly service but call to order your pick up in advance. They're VERY popular!
