Spirit Halloween

Not helpful staff. Called to see if they had two specific costumes as it is a 2 hour drive to get there so I wanted to be sure. The person who answered phone would not look and basically said too bad. So I called Halloween Alley and the guy was very helpful. Went there instead.

Helpful staff. COVID-19 policies are obviously a bit of an inconvenient, but totally reasonable and well explained. Very good selection and I spotted a couple of items I've seen online, and the prices here were surprisingly lower.

I bought a costume on Monday, October 24th, there are no change rooms due to COVID protocols being implemented. I was assured by two staff members that if it didn’t work out l, I could bring back the items I bought by the evening of October 27th and I would get my money back. I was happy with that and went home and tried on the outfit. Well surprise, surprise, it didn’t fit, I wasn’t worried about it cause I thought I could get my money back anyways. Well today I brought the items back (October 26th) When I got to the counter I let the staff member know that I was returning the items. He said he could do an exchange but not a refund. I was in shock, just two days ago I was told I could get my money back. I was trying to explain my situation, but he wasn’t having it. I asked if I could speak to the manager and see if we could come to some sort of compromise, due to the misinformation that I was told. He informed me that he is the manager and that he would not budge. He spoke matter-factly and showed no compassion to my situation. I begrudgingly chose something else because those items were not cheap. I will never shop here again due to my experience today.

I mean... What can I say? These guys do a phenomenal job at what they do...But it does make you realize that every single piece from there ends up in the garbage within a couple years.

It is Halloween and this store is amazing. Some costumes are a little pricy but overall you can find everything you want!

I've never walked into a store feeling so berated and watched... EVER!! Absolutely everyone is a suspect there, not innocent till your searched. I understand theft is bad... But really... Why make everyone else feel so unwelcome, coming up with a better solution would be a much better idea

A little too scary right off the bat for my little. The entrance has some pretty adult scary things. Would not recommend for children to go there. But adults would love it. Lots of selection but a little overpriced

I didn't get their name but the blonde employee was so sweet and helped me so much and what I got was really cute thank u <3

THE WORST online shopping experience I've had EVER. I have had to call the 1-866 number over 9 times in the last two days trying to track down my Canadian order before the weekend of Halloween and I've had to deal with insane wait times (2+ hours), calls dropping and not getting a call back after hours of waiting, promises of an email follow-up to my order status, incorrect tracking details, and a mix up" with my address - all over a $200 order that I made well in advance of the time I was supposed to receive it. I will never shop with Spirit Halloween again."
