Dr Charkow

Dr. Steven Charkow is a very competent and caring physician. I found him in 2017 after visiting a couple of urgent care facilities in the KW area and did not have any reason to look elsewhere since then. I don't have a family doctor yet, so when I need some attention, I inquire about his availability and visit him instead of going to any other doctor. Dr. Charkow has a superb focus and excellent time management skills. When you meet him, you'll find that he quickly gets down to business and provides the care and attention you need for your health issues.

Came with daughter 10 years old to see the doctor at around 4:30pm.‘Friendly’ reception: We are closed for today.We: Oh, but it says you are open till 5pm.‘Friendly’ reception: We close at our own discretion, doctor has seen enough patients for today.With this attitude you guys should not be working at urgent care facility to help people and especially kids with their health.I hope one day when you take your child to an urgent care, they will shut down their doors on your face ‘on their own discretion’ even you came on time.Thanks!

The clinic told me they would be referring my daughter to a paediatric dermatologist and I confirmed this with the receptionist upon going out if it was indeed a dermatologist and not just a paediatrician. They said yes. Two weeks later I receive a call from westheights clinic saying they had received a referral from them, and when I went in to see them today the doctor said I have to refer you to the paediatric dermatologist since it isn’t my area!! Why did they have to cheat us like this? I took a day off and wasted so much time just to see a doctor we all knew we didn’t need? I am so frustrated right now, I had an important meeting that I didn’t attend just so my daughter could see a dermatologist only to find this out!! This is nothing but money making gimmicks.

The best doctor i met in K-W! The kind one will never forget. Caring, personable, relatable with solid knowledge and integrity. Too bad he doesn't run his own practice. :-(He takes time to hear you and you wont feel rushed. He will explain things to you, he really does respect you that way.He helped my family on numerous occassions and was always right on with his diagnosis.

I went to Dr. Charkow's office in Walk-in.I had some skin issues and I had to wait for at least an hour or more and I was prepared for that. When I finally got my turn, the doctor checked me and prescribed me the medicine in a few minutes. The service was quick and I felt better in just 2-3 days after taking medicine.I would definitely recommend this Walk-in service for any of your medical problems.

Dr. Charkow is one of the very best doctors I have encountered. He is patient, knowledgeable, on-point and follows up on tests and referrals. He gets it" when you relate to him your symptoms

I Just Saw Dr. Charkow at The Fairway Xray & Ultrasound on, Monday, October 3/2022.I would Just like To Thank, Dr. Charkow for his; Spectacular Kindness, Thoughtfulness and Assistance at my Appointment this Past Monday, which was Greatly, Appreciated. Dr. Charkow Even, Explained with such Knowledgeable Detail about my Diagnosis and the Choices I could choice for a Better Quality of Life. He even, Varified other Strategies I could do to Assist with my Left Foot Pain I was experiencing for over 6 months. I could never ask for a More Knowledgeable, Very Kind and Thoughtful GP ever and Thank you Dr. CHARKOW. He even, went over my Ultrasound Diagnosis In Detail, which was absolutely, Thoughtful of him to do and other Strategies I could Apply if I didn't want Surgery. Dr. Charkow is by far the nicest and best doctor I have met by going to this clinic. His compassion and dedication to his craft is truly amazing. He doesn’t just listen to you he fully gets down to the root of the problem. Amazing dude over all and always has a smile on his face.
