Animal Inn Training School

Sally is amazing. Her tips on how to handle my giant GSD puppy have really paid off! I'll be continuing his training here for as long as I can.

I recently took my rescue dog through their obedience class and I was super disappointed. If you want to show your dog I'm sure this class is fine. If you want a well adjusted dog who you just want some basic obedience for, look elsewhere.It took my rescue pup quite some time to even be able to take treats from me. I took this class to learn & bond. The trainer was harsh, rude and condescending. Because we weren't the perfect pair, she outright ignored us. Because we're not planning on showing, she gave us no 1:1 when she did with EVERY other pair.Also something to note, they are very invested in negative training methods. They will use spray bottles to the face, horribly taught use of prong collars and noise aversion. This is not the up-to-date way of training.I was so excited to be able to train with Jasper but we ended up quitting because it wasn't worth continuing in this atmosphere

Wonderful classes and quite a wide variety. The past 4 years I have raised my 2 dogs through puppy, obedience, all agility classes and recently began competing in agility. I recently began nose work class with my new rescue dog, we both really enjoy it.

I went here for training with a difficult dog with limited social skills. I received much more than I could have expected. my dog & I left classes with more confidence & many skills. Awesome trainers went above & beyond to help us in a very difficult situation. My dog was very afraid & lacked confidence & the puppy sport class helped him immensely. We will be back for more training for sure! Thanks Liz.

Everyone has been very patient and helpful with our pup. We have learned a lot!

Been training here for over a year now, the trainers are friendly and knowledgeable. My gsd has made great strides thanks to the training. Only downside is that it doesn't take the training far enough. They really could use more options for you once your pooch has the obedience down pat

I have been to Animal Inn for conformation, utility and novice class. I will be back for open too. I appreciate the ample size ring, number of dogs/handlers in class and the familiar faces. My dogs and I appreciate another place to proof our training and the opportunity to drop in for classes when our schedule allows. Thank you Animal Inn.

Good school my dog is only 7 months old big first classes ,the training is nice ,she really understands puppy has a very short attention span.

Excellent place to bring your Shepard if you want to learn about their behaviors, tricks to teaching them, or if you are considering getting a Shepard. Very informational and helpful. Respectful, and professional staff

DON'T GO HERE. We took our puppy to this place because our last trainer moved out of the state. If you are just tring to get your dog to walk in circles every class and learn to stop and sit when you stop, this is the place for you and you will be doing that exact same thing for the full 8 weeks. The trainer just sits in her chair the entire time and yells things for you to do because the class is WAY to big and you cant really hear much. She also doesnt tell people what they are doing wrong or correcting them and showing them how to do it right. I have asked her a few questions of some behavioral issues to help us and she actually said I don't know". For a trainer that said that she has been training dogs for 50 years she is not good at it and doesnt seem to know how to train. I will never go back just to have someone get paid just to sit in a chair for 8 weeks just for us to walk in circles. I wish we got more out of this class. I now know what the difference is between a "Trainer" and Master Trainer like our last trainer was."
