One of the biggest grocery stores in the region - and only Maxi store you will find located on the southern shores of the Gaspésie coast.Wide selection of store brand products (generic) and popular brand names. Great selection of produce compared to nearby competitors. Store holds numerous departments such as household cleaning, meat & freezer, produce, shelf & pantry items, dairy, organic, beverages, toys & games, baby & diapers, etc. - seasonal items, gardening, kitchenware, bathroom supplies, medicinal products & body care, lottery, wine & beer and much more.Important to point out that Maxi is the only store with a price matching program and a loyalty card/APP that is very worthwhile. Large parking space and entrance, easier access for handicapped. Great customer service, friendly cashiers who are very knowledgeable and experienced.

The only place to buy food around there. Nothing can be comparable.

Terrible service cashier made us feel like we were a thief. Going on crazy over Can milk. Followed us to keep saying only a limit on can milk I told her they can put it back on the shelf she told me to do it myself and then told all the other cashiers about us and the milk had all the other cashiers looking at us if we were thief's never again will I go back to that store.

Bilingual cashier at times. Great sales. Lines are long but that's normal as its tourist season. Be patient pls

Like the variety there, it feels like Superstore in many ways and prices are attractive. Cart sanitization during COVID is a little strange making you bring it from outside yourself before cleaning it, but it can probably work with adequate hand sanitization upon entry.

Good prices, but every time I go, it seems like they've let a wild goat run through the entire store. The shelf are almost empty, the grocery carts are everywhere, products randomly in wrong shelf and there is no service at all. Poor management, not enough staff, but compare to other places around, the prices are good.
