I have recently had the very good fortune of adopting a 6 month old pup from Sit With Me! The process has been efficient and flawless , thanks to the excellent communication between the Staff, Foster Mom and myself! The support I have received has been outstanding ….all of my questions have been answered thoroughly and in a timely manner. Sit With Me has done it again - Bruno and I are a perfect match, and I am forever grateful! Thank you!

Sit With Me Rescue
Very patient with all the questions that I had to ask and provided valuable information for my adoption of a three-legged dog. Given the unusual nature of the dog what was more unusual was how hard it was to get through the review process which is obviously in place to ensure that all dogs end up in a perfect fit and don't get bounced back. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a permanent family companion that you think about reviewing any dogs they have available instead of going to a backyard breeder or Kijiji

I adopted one of my dogs from Sit With Me. They were honest and transparent with me about his needs - he has severe separation anxiety. They walked me through his history with them and ensured that we were a good match for each other.SWM was easy to communicate with and pretty quick to respond - especially knowing it's completely volunteer run.I like knowing I support an organization that helps the Ottawa dog community and provides a very niche service. 10/10 would recommend to everyone to see if a SWM dog is a match for your home.

I have adopted 2 dogs and fostered many through Sit With Me. All of the volunteers are amazing and they often help the dogs who would otherwise be overlooked due to medical needs, behaviours or breed.
