City Window & Glass

I own a shop downtown Hamilton and unfortunately had the glass on my door was damaged, along with my neighbours having their windows smashed. A repairman from this company was outside assessing their damage and I asked him if he'd come check out mine as well after. I was promptly given a quote and within an hour or so my door was fixed and it was less than I expected to pay.

The folks at City Glass have been a pleasure to work with. They are always conscientious and accurate and timely.

I agree with one of the others who posted a review that from the first phone call I was treated with respect and courtesy until the process was finished, unlike some of the other companies I tried. Customer service goes a long way nowadays. They were kind enough to accommodate my request for keeping my distance to stay safe due to the pandemic, and I was able to leave my door unlocked and they helped themselves in and then phoned me when they were completed. I needed the glass in my living room replaced and I am very happy with the results! Thank you to Rose, who answered the phone and who aims to please their potential customers, and it might be because of her that I became their customer. As well, thank you to the diligent installation employees who made my day!

Highly recommend this company. From our first phone call through to installation the staff were professional and courteous. We received a phone quote, which was quickly verified following an at-home measurement. Very competitively priced. Delivery was flawless, and the installation crew professional and meticulous. Honestly, now that we have had ‘glass only’ replaced, I’m not sure we will ever bother with the added expense of a full window replacement. Great experience.

Terrible and rude staff. She completely forgot to put my order in on the day she said she would and when I questioned her she said “I didn’t say I would do it then” in a snappy voice. Then she told me she isn’t going to fulfil my order and hung up on me! No I’m not exaggerating. Please avoid this place. left a voicemail about my experience with this staff member with the manager and he never bothered to call me back ! I’m glad I avoided this place because I got the same thing at Campbell’s glass for a way better price. This place is so unprofessional.

I thought it was a joke when I received the oval piece of glass I ordered for a frame it was filthy and chipped and not finished around the edges just a terrible job for the 70 dollars they charged me .

Excellent service and reliability from the staff at City window. I mainly dealt with one of the owners, (Robert C). He was very quick and knowledge to respond to my questions regarding the job. Definitely recommend and will use again in the future.

Great experience start to finish. From talking to the folks on the phone, getting the measurements/quote, and finally the installation everyone I dealt with was professional and the service was of the highest quality. Will certainly use in the future and suggest you give them a call.
