Abbotsford Police Department

Kinda horrible experience via phone with the elder receptionist that answered the first couple times was so rude and seemed uninterested in helping anyone and more interested in Karen-like behaviour. She would request a police file number for items that were picked up by the Abbotsford police even though I would have no way to obtain that and asked no questions. Then fortunately after calling a 3rd time, the younger girl that answered the phone was much more kind and was happy with my suggestion to look up the date and address I could provide. I would hope calls were taken a lot more seriously with interest in every single important detail a caller provides to the police! :|

I was totally disregarded and contradicted by an APD officer. Regarding a complaint i made to the APD about my 15 year old son and I being assulted by noxious fumes from xylene (paint thinner). A couple roommates at the place im staying have been splashing xylene mixed with water in a small bottle on the vents and on the couches that we sit on.My 15 year old son SAW one of the guys do it! But the officer proceeded to minimize the situation. Immediatly taling a bias stance by defending the PERP". I have enough evidence for the APD officer to have. Probable cause. By its obvious that the "laws" are not here to protect my demographic.....Im doing hay y parent would do. Ps they've (perps" are spraying brake cleaner and white lithium grease to cause my son and I to have lung damage and neurological damage in my developing teen. Blood tests will prove this.Not impressed. Seems like the Officer wanted me to take the law into my own hands.Its STILL HAPPENING TOO!!IDK what to do."

Up date July 31st.My neighbor vandalized my property today, after calling 911 and several return calls to the police, 5 hours later I find out the Abby PD never had any intention on coming down to my home. I was told and I quote since the damage is less then 5000 and you have no video proof we are not coming down". What the hell. Video surveillance can not go beyond your property line

I don't feel safe in Abbotsford because of the lack of police presence. Patrol cars are out for for driving expense. There is a lot of bad cops" in Abbotsford. I have been asulted buy more than one officer. Be warry of suspicious cops

I reported my vehicle being broken into yesterday. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Received my Reference# and was told if I remember anything else to call back and they will update my file.

My car was stolen last yr and apparently recovered by the police but I just received a bill from Jack's towing for 1k. The bill is dated 23 days after it was recovered yet this is the first of any notice I received about the recovery of my car. The abby pd should have contacted me first but they didn't and now I have to pay well over 1k to get my stolen car back. And try calling the non emergency, can't even get through to anyone so useless to contact why fund an independent police force if they can't even do their job.

Never go there to get fingerprints done! I'd want to give them 0 stars if I could. I've been there twice to get fingerprints done for my security clearance for Health Canada but they couldn't do it properly both the times and I still had to pay them twice for something that they could not do. Then I had to finally get this done from a third party private organization in Surrey. I have seen the same thing happening with 2 of my colleagues and on top of that they have a really bad attitude when you try explaining them something, they'll be like they know their job but apparently not!!

Called to report someone allowing their minor child to drive on a public road(family oriented cul-de-sac) in Abbottsford. Basically they weren't even willing to look into it to talk to these parents" because it wasn't currently taking place. Yet this parent posted these pictures and videos on Facebook glorifying it(still up as well). Best to avoid public roads out there in my opinion

Two weeks ago out of the blue, two black vehicles we're parked in the work parking lot with no plates on them. Have no idea who they belong to and no one has come to claim them. Of course the cops were called. The response on the phone we were given... Call a tow truck! Really? Not interested if they are stolen? And it's supposed to be our bill to get rid of then? Whatever happened to Serve and Protect? If your car is stolen don't bother calling the Abbotsford Police they don't care!
