We had great customer service with Lance, even when the store was busy. The odd visit where we have to wait for other customers to finish their business with him is worth waiting for because of the how helpful and knowledgeable he is, and also fine with us since we are not so entitled to think that we can jump ahead of others who are also spending a lot to be off grid.

We have lived off grid for 10 years using lead acid batteries. This year we purchased volithium batteries from BurOak Resources and it's been great no more checking specific gravity, batteries watering just pullout your cell phone and it tells voltage, amps battery charge so easy for off grid living. From the first day we met at the marina and headed to our water access camp I had a great feeling Bur Oak would be a perfect fit. Weeks later, your fellas arrived to the marina on time each day and were more than helpful and polite during the several days of installation. You all know your stuff! The system you designed works great and the solar fridges are amazing! No more lugging propane! As a business owner in the finishing trade, I know a great team when I see them in action. Incompetence and dishonesty are the 2 key words to express our disappointment in their abilities to address problems with our existing solar system. A key component was removed and apparently checked by two of their technicians who deemed that the part (worth $1100.00) was defective and worth a $50 credit.We retrieved the part, sent it to the manufacturer for check-up and have since had it returned - all FREE of charge and in perfect working order. It was a minor fix that a solar technician from Bur Oak should have been able to diagnose. On top of this, they billed for plenty of hours - yet left us with a system not in full working order. Thankfully, we found another company who came for a complimentary site visit, tested everything and came up with a solution.
