Sadly, not worth the visit anymore. I brought some out of towners for this Red Deer exclusive experience and we were dismayed that 1. It's still cash only. Invest in Square or Moneris already. 2. The prices are way too high. We ended up getting 2 kids cones only. The 4 adults opted for Dairy Queen or skipping ice cream altogether. And 3. The 5 teenage girls employed here at the time were pushy and rushed us to order, even though there was no one else in line. This small business has been around forever and used to be worth the trip but I'd rather just buy ice cream at the grocery store for better value.

Staff here has always been rude, they seem annoyed to be doing their job. Kept coming back because the ice cream is great. Now with the price almost doubling over the last few years combined with smaller portion sizes and rude treatment I guess Dairy Queen or Ross street ice cream it is!!!

Delicious ice cream and friendly staff, but at $8 for 1 scoop and $16 for 2 it's certainly not the most affordable.Also beware of your parking! The spots marked reserved are for the next door apartments residents only and they will call the RCMP within 5 minutes. Only use the spots directly behind the building or street parking unless you want to get yelled at and/or impounded.

The ice cream is so good and the atmosphere is so good I love their strawberry ice cream is the best! Most people don’t like strawberry but The Little Ice Cream And Soda Shoppe gives you any different and word flavour you want! 10/10 would recommend!

Walked in the other day. Was greeted by the persons behind the counter. So far, it was great. My spouse and I had already picked out our ice cream flavours of choice before hand. So when we said what we wanted and the size (something we were well aware of as this was not our first visit) the individual FAT SHAMED my husband!We were shocked to say the least. If she wants people to eat healthy-maybe don’t work at an ice cream shop!Needless to say we’ve taken our business to the ice cream shop west, down town on Ross Street for when we need a sweet treat.

PRICEY to say the least, my one scoop with 2 flavors was over 10 dollars and the waffle cone was soft and not crunchy like they should be. Clearly they are way over priced on there ice cream, even more than DQ. I've been in Red Deer for over 40 years and the reality is that I will NEVER take my kids here again. There are better ice cream shops for less and they have the convenience of paying with debt and credit. I'm amazed this place has any repeat customers, it's probably that most parents agree to get their children ice cream, then don't want to disappoint there children.Cheer,

Time to find a new ice cream shop!! $3.05 for a child's cone - just enough ice cream to cover the top of the cone and make a bit of a round top! Ice cream was good but not better than other shops, no improvements made to the inside or outside of the premises, not a friendly spot anymore!!

Definitely the best place in red deer to get ice cream. Tons of flavours to pick from. The price is not bad. But it is cash only. Friendly staff. Family business. There is a reason this place is always busy. Would recommend

Ice cream was good, sweet enough..! specially waffle with icecream. Some staffs were nice and friendly, some staffs weren’t. The icecream is PRICY and CASH ONLY(has ATM machine in basement).. It’s good to try place but I’m not sure I be there once again tough lol
