Genuinely 'local bike shop' feeling store with friendly and quirky staff who are passionate about bikes and finding the best fit for their customers.Like most bike shops, weekends are very busy so if you're really interested in getting the e-bike that is right for you, pay them a visit on a weekday.

Best bike shop I've dealt with - ever. Even when it was super busy, Doug made a real effort to not only listen, but actually hear me. Granted, he needed to multitask multiple people and events (it is a busy shop) but he never lost the flow (or his smile) and I left with the perfect bike for me.

Doug was the friendliest and easiest guy to discuss with about our electric bike needs. We ended up coming back to him after visiting a few other stores and have been supremely happy with our purchase and support after the fact. He remembers us as soon as we come in and is always willing to go out of his way to make sure we have what we need. Strong recommend!

Best place to get an mid/upper tier e-bike in Vancouver. Before trying Cit-E cycles, I went to multiple other dealers (Rad, Biktrix, etc…) and I just couldn’t shake the feeling I was being oversold by some strong “used car salesman” energy.Doug at Cit-e cycles was the first salesperson I talked to that gave me honest, useful advice. He has a ton of experience and simply will not sell you anything that isn’t a good fit for you. They do in-house repairs and often have great sales on older models.It turned out to be the right decision, as a year after purchasing from Cit-e cycles, my e-bike was stolen. Someone found it, saw the cit-e sticker, and called Doug. He left his store in the middle of the day and recovered it for me. It was pretty beat up and the front wheel was missing, but they fixed it up for me and I was back on it within a week. Thank you Doug!!!

Doug is very knowledgeable about bikes and was patient in helping me to find my ebike. I'm an active senior cyclist transitioning from my beloved carbon fibre bike to an ebike. I kept stopping by over several months asking questions. Doug was very helpful but never pushed me as to which bike I should get. I have a Tern GSD for my family and I fully trust the experience and excellent product knowledge of Doug and James to keep our cargo Ebike safe. These are heavy and powerful bikes that replace your car- so there are hefty physics involved, especially when you have them loaded up with your precious family. I mistakenly took our tern to a local bike shop who (dangerously) claimed they could maintain it. Turns out my bike was a guinea pig bike to them- I was overcharged on work that impaired its function and had to have the good people at citEcycles fix it up. CitEcycles is a Tern dealer and the staff are experts- I will happily trek across town for my annual maintenance to ensure my bike is safe for my family. I regret having tried to go anywhere else! Thanks guys!

Cold, dismissive, abrasive customer service. Maybe they were having a bad day, but it’s not a place that made me feel inclined to spend several thousand dollars.

Excellent information and good advice provided. Good selection of bikes and accessories. A very enjoyable experience.
