I had an amazing experience at Foodine. I tried the Surati Unlimited Taali and Unlimited Chaat, both of which were simply delicious. The use of fresh ingredients and traditional spices made each dish stand out in its own way. It truly felt like I was enjoying authentic Gujarati cuisine right in the heart of town. The staff was attentive and ensured a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable dining experience.

Foodine Restaurant - Indian Street Food & Thali
A must try for indian street food lovers! We had some amazing starters which we shared among friends.. Which makes the whole experience even more fun.. Crispy and hot Samosas,panipuris, flavorful vadapav and dabelis.. And their garlic chutney was just the best I have ever had. The portions are great and the menu has a lot of delicious vegetarian varieties.

If you love Gujarati food, this is the place. Weekend fun in Montreal from Ottawa ended with dinner here. Loved the undhiyu, sev tamatar, baingan bharta and vagharelo rotlo. Great taste. Will definitely visit again soon.Highly recommended.

Went to this restaurant based on our friends referring it.We went around 8:30PM which was the dinner time and ordered thali. We had to wait for literally 1Hr for thali for which everything would be ready to serve except for chapati.They did not serve the food until we went to the counter and asked for it.When the food came the taste of the food was terrible. The chapati was floating in oil as if it was a poori, actually even poori would have less oil in it, the consistency of dal was literally like rasam and which was bland and had no flavor.The waiter/host who ever it was, he told us that butter panner would be sweet so we ordered it spicy, even then we received a sweet butter panner. Don't want to imagine a non spicy butter paneer probably it would have been one of the best desertNext in that restaurant DJ was HIGHLIGHT. It was barely 300sqft seating area and they had a DJ who was playing songs very loud as if it was a pub which was stupid.

This tiny restaurant on Queen Mary has some nice authentic Indian food...home style cooking that you won't find everywhere. Very reasonably priced and the portions are more than what most people can finish, you'll be bringing some home for sure. The only downside is the actual size of the restaurant, they can't accommodate large groups... hopefully they'll think about expanding to a larger location.

I visited this place during my Montreal trip. The restaurant has wide varieties in the menu but most of the items were not available. The the rest available item was not even close to any restaurant or standard. You can see in the pictures the food they provide has very poor quality and taste. It worse than the “Lodge”. When I complained to the staff they said “coz of canadian grocery you can’t get the taste like India”. Really? I think they don’t even have any professional cook. I think there is are many restaurants nearby like Madras curry house, which you can try but not this one. Worse food I have ever had in any restaurant.

I had one of my best dining experiences, here at Foodine Restaurant. They serve the tastiest authentic Gujarati Thalis. We ordered Kathiyawadi and Surti Thalis. Everything in the Thali had unlimited servings, except chaas. All the dishes were very delicious and had perfect balance between sweet and spicy. I thought most of the dishes would be sweet, but to my surprise they were perfectly balanced. I liked Basundi, Undhiyo, Baingan Bharta and Sev Tomato the most. The service was amazingly fast, for a place that serves so many varieties of dishes. The only thing they can improve upon is the mini vadas they serve in the starters. The filling of the vadas could have been better.

Foodine Restaurant - Indian Street Food & Thali
We came from all the way from Windsor to Montreal for our vacation and find this restaurant. We tried on first day. The Gujarati food was so amazing and delicious. Every item we ordered, it had its unique taste. Chef, staff and the owner was super nice and humble they came out of the kitchen and talked regarding their journey. It was super nice experience and we recommend everyone who is visiting Montreal to visit this restaurant at least once.

We took Sev Khamni,Undhiyu curry Kathiyawadi thali , Baignan Bharta and Kulfi Falooda .The Sev Khamni which was the best of all the foods and I really recommend this dish to people. It's worth a try. The Undhiyu curry and the Kathiyawadi thali was also the same as Sev Khamni.The disappointing part was that the Baignan Bharta was good but it had a lot of oil. Kulfi Falooda was good. The service was fast and the atmosphere was great. I really enjoyed my experience.
