Ottawa Elopements was our ultimate saving grace when it came to planning a wedding during the pandemic. While we initially thought we wanted to 150+ person wedding, the pandemic made us re-examine our priorities and reflect on what was really important to us for our big day: having our loved ones present, an intimate and ultimately stress-free ceremony where we could really be present with one another. Ottawa Elopements made this possible. From our first meeting, Karen and Lauren were so friendly, and really all ears when listening to what mattered to us. They made the planning process easy, and walked us through all the little decisions along the way. They were patient with us while we asked a million questions, scouted out locations based on our preferences, and also chose wonderful vendors for us (our flowers, snacks for our ceremony, etc.) that were all EXCELLENT! I tried to plan 2 different weddings and after months of stress and disappointment, my now husband and I decided to simply elope. We had the most amazing experience and would do it all over again… no regret! We were able to enjoy our moment, stress free and with our daughter for a fraction of the money we were originally planning on spending.The planning was easy and very personalized and they went above and beyond to make our dream come true. They had a makeup artist come to our house at 5:30 am. We met up at the trail head around 6:30 am and hiked all together to be married at sunrise.I can’t recommend their services enough!

Ottawa elopements made our wedding a big success thanks to their resourcefulness and flexibility. They were able to completely shift the timetable less than 24 hours in advance so we managed to conplete our ceremony and photos before bad weather arrived. It was perfect!
