Dave did an exceptional job for a very reasonable price on very short notice on a place we are getting ready to rent. Even though he was booked up for weeks, he managed to fit us into the cracks in his schedule (luckily our place was small). Communication with Dave couldn't have been better: he was in touch the whole time consulting where he needed input from us but also offering advice where we needed it, sending photos all the while. In particular we appreciated Dave's advice on colours! He chose something that really brightened a small space up and made it feel bigger and elegant. He left us the paint cans to help match colours in future which was appreciated, and cleaned up so well after himself that he left the place better than he found it. All of this was done while we were away, and when we came back we couldn't believe the difference! We would recommend Dave the Painter in a heartbeat.

Dave was able to squeeze us in last minute. He worked at an incredible pace and made our house look good as new. He was kind, helpful - and went well beyond our expectations. I highly recommend hiring Dave!

We recently used Dave’s Painting & Home Improvements to get a home ready for sale. Dave took an old, dated and dull 1960’s bungalow and turned it into a fresh, modern and bright space. The quality of the work and the ability to meet often challenging deadlines resulted in a quick sale thanks to Dave. I don’t hesitate to refer this company to friends and family alike. Absolutely thrilled! Dave painted the inside of my whole house. He finished 2 hours ahead of schedule, final cost matched the quote nearly to the penny, so there were no surprises. I hired Dave after obtaining other estimates, mainly because his pricing was competitive, but he made recommendations others did not take the time to make, and he was a genuinely nice guy. The kind of person you feel comfortable having in your house all day for a week - this matters! We ran into a snag with my selection of a color and he helped me solve the problem quickly and easily. He’s flexible, friendly, and skilled. Communications before and after were prompt. Would recommend him to anyone.

We have used Dave to paint our place 2 times. We regularly paint ourselves and my wife is pretty good herself, so paying someone to do it is not always our first choice. The first time we used Dave The Painter was for a dinning room with high walls that we would not have been able to do our selves. Dave came by did that room and also did the ceilings of our whole upper level hall way which connected to that vaulted dinning room. He was in and out within a day and a half. The work was well done, reasonably priced and there was nothing left behind for us to clean up.More recently we decided to sell our house. We reached out to Dave about doing some odds and sods to freshen the place up. He came in gave us frank advice on what he felt was worth doing and not worth doing. He then connected us to other people in the industry to help us understand areas of work that could be done that would help with the overall sale of our home. Within a matter of a couple weeks he had painted several rooms and hallways in our home. Did a professional repainting of our kitchen and bathroom cupboards. Not to mention he also fixed a handful of other items that required general repair. All very quickly and professionally done at a very good price. In the end we have a much better product going on the market and we have Dave to thank.

Dave and his team are very professional and reliable. From the first contact, Dave responded quickly to my request, came on time to view the house and gave me his quote. You could see from the first moment you meet him that he is an expert painter and knows what to do . My house had a very dark brown paint and Dave transformed it to a beautiful off-white color.
