I wish my company didn’t switch to Equitable Health. Terrible.Gave my pharmacists the go ahead saying something was covered to $$ value. When we send the claim it wasn’t covered as the same amount we were told over the phone.Pharmacist was surprised how much she was put on hold over the phone too.

Equitable life has the worst mailbox management I have ever seen. I sent an e-mail request in regards to my policy in the beginning of November and no one has gotten back to me. I receive an automated bot e-mail today saying, call customer service". In my opinion

Worst insurance company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Almost nobody accepts direct billing from them, forcing you to waste your time doing everything online yourself. If a practitioner does accept direct billing, the submittals are audited" 90% of the time and it won't go through anyway. An unbelievably frustrating insurance company.. just the worst."
