Magnitude

I had my son attended, but my son did not want to go. Instead he started crying every time we took him there. Normally, my son is very active and cheerful guy. But upon attending their camp,he did not want to do much. Finally our son told us that he was treated rudely and was being yelled at. When I brought this matter to Mike, first he ignore it and then told us it has been taken care of. But my son continued complaining and crying. Finally, I pulled my son out.

Very happy I enrolled my daughter into Magnitude Taekwondo. I'm watching her grow up and develop skill sets she'll take with her through her life.Instructors are incredible, especially Instructor George. So good with the kids, never seen him not smiling either! Facility is very clean and there's an excellent view point for parents to watch their kids.Classes also include exercise drills, fun active games like dodgeball and of course lots of taekwondo!

I am happy with my sons progress; it's a discipline thing and they usually are not the ones that would like to miss class; sometimes they don't want to visit but that's because the place is a bit far from us; I would have loved for my sons to develop more skills for the three years they have spent here. I would have liked if there was more structure and clear path..

I went here from grade kindergarten-2.The place was overall nice but I do have some problems.The belt system was really bad in my opinion. It depended on age. If you came when you were 7, your third belt would be yellow. But if you came 5 or below yellow would be your 7th belt.Most of the kids are mean and throughout my time there I only made 1 actual friend and the rest of the kids hated me and manipulated me constantly.Also idk if this counts or not but once we were lifting weights and I was given a weight that was like 3-8 pounds lighter then the other kids and I was the only female too. Kids lower belt then me were given a heavier weight then me and when I asked why my answer was somethin like, “because you’re a girl”. Idk if this one counts but thinking about it now it seems really wrong.Overall decent place, but please fix the belt system. Idk if it changed or not since I don’t go there anymore.

This is a great place for kids to learn martial arts. I have two kids enrolled in the after school program, the eldest one now on the fourth consecutive year. We also choose Magnitude for summer camps and PA/PD days, they always have a schedule packed with activities and my kids love to go here. I've already recommended this place to my friends with children and they've all enrolled and like it here. I feel safe leaving my boys with Mike and his team and I definitively recommend them.

My niece and nephew have been going to Magnitude for over six years. The evening classes have really helped shape them into the confident, independent children they now are. Master Plata and Master Han are wonderful instructors. The March break and summer camps are all my niece and nephew rave about; they are filled with activities and outings. Over the years I went with them to a few of the outings and everything was so well organized. I am truly impressed by Magnitude and all their staff.

We are so happy we picked this place for the summer camp this year! Our son loved it here! Great staff, always very attentive, take good care of everyone individually. The marshal arts teachers are amazing with kids. Interesting program with lots of field trips and fun! We will be definitely returning next year! Leo made a lot of friends and was so happy to go every morning, which is rare :)

This is the best place, great owners, very down to earth people. Very reliable program and great way to keep the kids healthy and happy. Reasonably priced and overall just an excellent run business. Kids are happy here.

My son goes to Magnitude After School program for the second year now. It is a great place that thought him self-confidence, self-defense and he has gained a lot of friendship. My son also enjoys going to summer camp at Magnitude. I definitely recommend Magnitude.
