My review is based strictly on pre-made deli sandwiches . If you like old soggy Sammy's definately go here. Full price too . Don't expect fresh even at noon.

Sobeys - Sage Creek
Clean store, easy to find things, nice staff. The manager is there a lot and he kind of scares me. He’s just very authoritarian and I’ve never actually spoken to him but every time I see him I get nervous haha. I’m sure he’s lovely he just scares me. And then once I told a cashier he scared and she replied with, “he scares me too” haha.Anyway, it’s where I buy all my groceries and I really like it.

This is one of the newer Sobey’s in Winnipeg. It is a modern, attractive and well-decorated store (which you pay for with higher grocery prices). Produce is better than most grocery stores in the area. The fruits and vegetables are displayed very beautifully. You can buy flowers and gift wrap here much like Safeway stores in the city – plus there is an MLCC liquor store just aroundtbe corner should you need to stock up on things before heading south out of the city for a weekend getaway. There is a small area with chairs and tables should you want to pop in for lunch, a snack, etc.

Lots of free priduce that lasts a while,the deli and bakery sections are fairly extensive. Lots of delicious alternatives too. The cheese selection is also vast, with some from other countries. Lots of selection however for general day to day groceries its a little on the more expensive side but not by too much. Shop here often.

Clean store. A bit pricey but everything they sell is top quality so I cannot really complain too much about that. The atmosphere is lovely, quiet, and overall makes for a very calm and peaceful shopping experience. The only thing this place is missing is self-checkout kiosks. If they ever get added, Sobeys Sage Creek will get 5/5 from me!

Sobeys is a great chain, but I always find this store difficult to navigate. It reminds me of Ikea where they herd you through the aisles.

Nice place but a bad layout and too darn expensive! Not sure where this trend of entering in the produce section, separating it from the rest of the store with a deli and having a tiny aisle to get to the store proper began, but it is whack.
