I don't even know where to begin! Melissa is an absolute gem. I never thought in a million years we would love our wedding photos as much as we did. Looking at them is like reliving the day over and over again exactly as it happened. Melissa is incredibly kind and generous and went so above and beyond our wildest expectations! Melissa is an absolute DREAM. She shot our wedding for us in the beginning of September and she completely blew our expectations out of the water. Absolute great time with Melissa. She’s respectful, punctual, ambitious, excited, and most definitely ready to capture incredible moments. Melissa is constantly trying new ways to shoot great photos that capture both the energy of the people and the well balanced composition that makes for a pleasing result.She has a great sense of humour which reflects on to you as she’ll make you genuinely laugh and smile. Melissa was our photographer for our wedding and engagement shoot. She exceeded all our expectations and made my very camera shy husband feel so comfortable. Melissa is an amazing photographer and she is also kind, reliable and respectful. I have known Melissa for a long time but we were not close friends. I recently moved back to Nova Scotia and was happy to discover her photography while looking for a wedding photographer. Melissa was so easy to communicate even though I had not seen her in 10 years. I was so happy that she understood our very relaxed wedding plans. Melissa gave me a bottle of bubbly from my favourite winery which I enjoyed while getting ready and she was great company to have before the ceremony. We had a small wedding with immediate family and she respected that we wanted to be present with our guest. Our wedding photos turned out perfect and I highly recommend her.

Melissa is such a natural at photography and an absolute pleasure to work with. I have never been comfortable getting my photos done so when I got pregnant I was hesitant about a maternity shoot. We chose to do beach style photos and it was truly such a great time! Melissa’s warm personality immediately helps you relax and have fun during your session. The photos that Melissa took were absolutely beautiful and I don’t know if I’ve had a photo where I’ve felt more like a goddess than these shots of me 8 months pregnant on a beach. That’s what you can expect working with Melissa. The poses are fun, no awkward or forced smiles, and she captures the most beautiful candid moments that are natural and imperfectly perfect. Melissa also worked her magic with my family’s first photos and a very cranky 2 month old baby. It really wasn’t looking good but Melissa got the job done and we not only got beautiful photos for our Christmas cards but also some hilarious sassy baby photos for memories down the road. I really cannot say enough about how talented this woman is. I’m already planning my next photoshoot with her and I recommend Melissa to all my friends and family!

Melissa was amazing to work with! Not only is she sweet as can be, professional and easy to be around, but her pictures brought tears to my eyes! It’s amazing what she was able to capture and make beautiful since she had to follow around two rowdy kids and exhausted parents.Excellent price point as well, especially for the amount of photos you get. Most photographers offer 2-5 edited pictures so I was blown away at the amount we received.Great experience, highly recommended and I hope to book again for the holiday seasons!
