Ashton Care Home

My Mother gets good care and attention and they are friendly to guests! There’s a nice deck where the residents can sit in privacy and enjoy nature.

This is a great homecare space with a nice family atmosphere & organized activities to keep folks entertained and mentally engaged.

This a comfortable and clean care home with a family-like atmosphere. The owners and staff are very caring.

Meals are poor, the care is conditional. We took our mother out asap.

Honestly, who ever answers the phone at this “care home” could do better. Shes a bit rude and seems snappy.. could of been a bad day? I don’t know. All I asked her was if she could write down my number so my grandfather could call me because he’s been asking. she replied “well he doesn’t have a phone DID YOU KNOW THAT?… it’s a privilege for them to use this phone” Essentially saying these residents do not have access to the phone to call their loved ones. Honestly terrible phone experience on their behalf. She phoned back so my grandfather could speak to me, as were speaking she proceeded to yell across the room (I could hear it from the phone) things about me and how I’m lying, so I told him if she keeps having issues I will contact her bosses. So I am leaving this review, hoping someone will contact me. This person would not tell me her name, she seemed upset, seemed like this isn’t the first time to happen. None of this was about her in the beginning and I made that very clear to her. Good day.Experience #2 Nov 19 2022I am again writing another review about this care home worker.Today I called twice before heading over to visit my grandfather. This lady on the phone said it was alright, as long as I wear a mask.When I got there she asked me right away if I wrote a Google review about her, I did not respond I simply said “I don’t wanna talk about this right now”. 10 minutes later into my visit, my grandfather and I were sitting in the tv room talking, this worker lady comes out and shoved her phone in my face saying “I know you wrote this, you cannot say things like this about me, I will sue you”.As the seconds go by she is still getting closer to my face (I was sitting on a chair) so I said “can you get out of my personal space please” while saying this I was trying to grab my phone to record the situation she then grabbed my wrist making me drop my cellphone. She tells me to leave and I’m never allowed back.I ended up calling the police as I was exiting the home. I will leave a full statement about her with them, and I also hope the OWNERS contact me please and thank you. This should not be happening when anyone goes to visit their loved ones. She made me uncomfortable and scared.

Highly recommend if you're looking for a care home!! Meals are made with love & everyone is treated like family!

Each meal is made from scratch. Very clean & exceptional care provided!

Any is a very caring person and would recommend Ashton Care Home to anyone. Great meals, clean and cares for the seniors that is in her care.

New owners have taken over a few years ago. The food, home cleanliness, personal care and overall respect for the residents is excellent. Mom is very happy here and calls Ashton Care her home. I rate Ashton Care Home 5 Star.
