Joyful Seafood Restaurant
You will have to make reservations even on a weekday, it is very popular unless you are willing to sit & wait. Our first time to Joyful & it was not disappointing. Ordered the usual & the food was good, typical dim sum menu. The chicken feet & the spare ribs were not that tender however the flavour is all there. Otherwise the rest of the items were flavourful, They are generous with the amount of tea leaves in your teapot, usually by the 4th - 5th refill, the tea is not that strong. Not here, even after several refills of hot water, the tea taste remains robust. That’s because the tea leaves fills half the teapot.Service was good, they were efficient & polite. The restaurant has a nice ambiance. Definitely will come back again if I don’t want to drive to Vancouver for dim sum.

Joyful Seafood Restaurant
Dim sum dishes were great! Attentive servers, they don’t just rush to drop off your utensils and leave. We were greeted so nicely and the servers would stop to chat with us when bringing out our food. Service was on the slower side but it’s to be expected as it was a Saturday morning! Prices were better than a lot of other places near by! Will definitely be back.

Went as a family of 5 with reservations and we got seated almost immediately after walking in!They serve regular Cantonese dim sum dishes, but all of them were really delicious and had a lot of flavour without being too salty. I'd highly recommend their steamed rice noodles, especially the one that we had with beef in it.

Met up with a friend for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, 1245pm, wait time for a table for 2 at that time was about 20 minutes and we didn't wait long for our order to start arriving.Decent size dim sum and definitely a lot of options for their lunch menu. Items on the menu ranged from $8-$15.We enjoyed the food here and will probably be back if we find ourselves in that area again.Update: came here again on a Sunday afternoon, about 1230pm and we waited for maybe 10 minutes to get seated, which was great. We had our usual suspects and then a couple of dishes we don't normally get.Service was consistent & friendly and their food was also consistent and hit the spot if you're having a dim sum craving. This place will probably be in rotation.

Good dim sum. Nice restaurant. Prices are fair considering prices are up everywhere. Really nice and good customer service from staff. Definitely would go back. Also very nice of them to give me discount cause they are still doing grand opening promotion. Maybe my luck. Lol. Highly recommend

The king crab meal here was delicious. Probably the best I've had in a long time. The crab meat was well seasoned and came off the shell easily. The garlic wasn't overpowering. All the items ordered were well cooked and seasoned.The service was excellent. They came and cleared out plates often and they consolidated the food often to make room on the table for upcoming dishes. Washrooms were decent and it's a large restaurant able to accommodate huge groups.We also had dimsum here. It was good as well. Parking was free and easy to find.We will be back.

I didn’t have to wait long to get a table though the place looked super busy. The service was great, the staff were efficient and friendly. I went there for the dim sum and their’s didn’t disappoint. I thought their sticky wild rice wrap with dried scallop and pork in Lotus leaf was delicious. Their baked BBQ pork pastry which one of the members of their staff, Linda, recommended was delectable. The xiao long bao was good, but not the best I have eaten. I would go back there and maybe try their seafood.

I visited Joyful seafood restaurant with high expectations, but I was disappointed by the food and the service. The restaurant claims to offer fresh and delicious seafood dishes, but I found them to be too salty and poorly presented. The fish was overcooked, the shrimp was rubbery, and the sauce was bland. The portions were also small for the price.The service was not much better. The waiter was rude and impatient, and he forgot to bring us water and napkins. He also mixed up our orders and charged us for items we did not order. When we complained, he did not apologize or offer to fix the mistake. He just shrugged and walked away.I do not recommend Joyful seafood restaurant to anyone who is looking for a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience. It is a waste of time and money. There are many other seafood restaurants in the area that offer better food and service. Joyful seafood restaurant is not one of them.

This is a nice restaurant, passing by outside, its appearance is not good, go in and have a try, there are chefs in the restaurant, very good, and the service attitude is also very good, I will go to eat again next time.

Joyful Seafood Restaurant
Great Chinese seafood restaurant!Plenty of seafood!We had the 2 course duck, lobster, etc., the food was amazing! Delicious and exactly as I would like! Worth every penny.In addition to this, the service was friendly, fast and helpful! Not always the case at Chinese restaurants.They spoke English, Cantonese, and Mandarin freely!Highly recommend this place.It was busy, so you know it's good, make a reservation and you'll be in and out with a happy belly!
