I had the complete misfortune of having to deal with this company when my vehicle was repossessed. Sometimes people fall on hard times and I fully admit I was one of them. Ultimately though, I am still a person right!? Wrong!!! Totally not the case with vehicle recovery Manager Claudette Fyvie. I was spoken to in a manner of complete and utter disrespect. I had expressed great interest in redeeming and obtaining my vehicle back. I waited 9 days due to Claudette’s inability to take action on my file. Everything was a problem for her, every miniscule task that would take the average employee hours to complete was taking days for her. Here’s a few great examples of my experience with Claudette:1) I received the amount I had to pay the get the car back. I pleaded with her to see if a payment option could be arranged for me. She flat out said “no, payment plans are not available, you have 48 hours or your vehicle will be sent for auction”. I made a few calls after being told this and the arrangement that I asked her for was actually not a problem after all. I spoke with Teranet myself and they told me I could make payments and extended the time before my vehicle went to auction. If I didn’t go out of my way to seek this information, I would have never known it was an option. Claudette could of at a minimum advised me that there was a possibility that the bank would accept a payment plan and could of offered me some details or contact information for my inquiry. She didn’t! She just told me that the car is gone eventually and offered ZERO help.2) I sent her a copy of my vehicle registration on November 6th to submit to the bank as they had requested it from her. Eight days later (Nov-14) Claudette requested the exact same documentation again!! This lady had absolutely no clue what she was doing. She didn’t send the documentation to the bank that she asked me for a week prior. Ridiculous.3) I paid my amount in full that I owed. My girlfriend and I both had to take work off to get this accomplished. I called Claudette to see if I could get my car back the same day. She acted as if it was near impossible to get my vehicle back that day. She told me that an accountant had to verify that the payment has been received which she explained took countless hours. She said that documentation needed to be drafted which she also said took Tons of time. Given my previous experience with Claudette, I knew if I didn’t act on this myself then I wouldn’t get my car back that day. I took it into my own hands, went over her head and called her accounting department myself. Guess what ? it took the accountant FIVE MINUTES To verify that the payment had been received that I sent. I eagerly tried to contact Claudette to do her prepare the documentation but she was clearly ignoring me. I kept the pressure on her and she finally managed to get the documents to the towing company for me to get my vehicle back. The documents that she told me would take countless hours to prepare was ONE PAGE with my name on it , my file number, the amount paid and my vehicle details. This was the documentation that she said would take so much time to complete. If I didn’t contact the accounting department myself and constantly email and call Claudette to complete the documentation, my car would probably still be in the tow yard for a few more Days.The best thing about all of this is I have our telephone conversations documented and I have documented every exchange between us with timestamps, Specific details etc. I have emails and all of the details to back up all of my aforementioned points. I understand Balif companies are a little hard on people but I was extremely cooperative, this lady was incompetent and rude. I hope she gets disciplined. I am willing to speak with anyone within the organization to disclose my information that I have recorded. I am actually taking this story to the media as I have connections in this sector.

Had to use their services for an eviction enforcement that went really bad. The company was quick to work with and quickly scheduled bailiff to serve the tenant. Unfortunately the situation escalated, and the Bailiff was very quick, professional and supported us during the process, even following up with us after he was released from the scene when the police took over.Would highly recommend this company!
