This is a tired old man that lives in the past & brings no exceptional skills to the ablation procedure. He has an inability to provide patients with true facts about the ablation procedure, its outcomes or its dangers! Find a cardiologist that is associated with VGH rather than St Paul's! You may very well live longer.

I could not be happier with the success of my recent ablation proceedure... every moment of each day now feels better!Previously i had 2 cardioversions to correct atrial flutter. Dr Yeung is not only a perfectionist but a kind doctor who takes genuine interest in his patients.

Be sure to reconsider this procedure. If something goes wrong you could spend 48 days in the hospital and suffer cardiac arrest, seizures, plus possibly spend 43 days connected to a PICC IV line and need 4x/day treatment to clear up a blood issue .(I was told be every doctor in the hospital I should have died!) I could be off work at least 6 months due to the strokes and the loss of my ability to walk without assistance.I have yet to receive an apology phone call or any type of potential compensation because I had to sign a waiver that includes words like gross negligence." Don't believe the 99.? success rate from him. May need to be updated!"

My experience:The Dr prescribed amiodarone.I suffered side effects. (2 visits to hospital emergency. Days flat on my back. Tremors, sudden BP drop inter-alia.)Multiple calls to Dr’s office over 3 weeks. Then a terse reply from his Assistant advising I follow-up with another Dr.Govern yourself accordingly.
