I really don't know where to start! I'm amazed at how well the employers at OFE take their jobs serious, and really do go over and beyond for you! (most). I was sent to OFE by EIA , after being a single mom/stay at home mom, and having gone through some VERY difficult times, I hadn't worked in nearly 6 years. In which that made me feel a little insecure when it came to looking for work. I really didn't think much of OFE other than it being another job recruiter" place. But I was SO wrong!! I have had such amazing workers

I've recently got my first job in Canada with the city of Winnipeg.I'm extremely grateful to OFE for preparing me for the necessary skills to get a job in the Canadian workplace. The workshops like online self marketing,Canadian workplace culture,WHIMS training,Contact center training and Interview skills etc helped me a lot.I like to thank my employment consultant Brad Marsh and other trainers like Joana Correia, Brenda McDonald,Paula Caracini,Chiazor Chukwulobe and other staff members for excellent guidance and support.

They expect a person to update each cover letter and thier resume for every job you apply for, and you have to send out 3 a day. They have no idea, how unrealistic this is. And , I was excited to apply for a position with the Southern Chiefs Inc. as a 60s Scoop & Child Welfare Liasion , but the counselor suggested that I not apply because I don't speak any of the languages, but I felt I wanted to apply because I was directly impacted by the 60s scoop, not to .ention that I did alot of advocacy for the Litigation court case over 10 years with media, and classroom presentations, to bring awareness, this counselor has no idea how to support her clients. Nothing like getting kicked while you are already down.

I recently participated in the Canadian Workplace Culture Workshop and would like to say a few words about it.First of all, many thanks to the organizers of the course for the opportunity to gain useful knowledge.I learned a lot of new valuable information about workplace norms and expectations. And it was interesting to find out how important communication skills are in achieving success, and how much professional knowledge is not important.I am excited about the lectures. They were very informative for me. I liked everything: the friendly atmosphere, and the format of the presentation of the material. The information was provided by watching videos with their discussion and completing various tasks and tests.Summing up, I note that the course is interesting and necessary. I highly recommend taking it to all newcomers to Canada.Good luck to all!

I usually don't write any review for anything but I am here to express my sincere gratitude for the assistance and support OFE provided me during my job search. As newcomer, I had no idea how to start or from where to start. From the moment I reached out to this team, I was impressed with the level of professionalism and dedication. I wished to do work from home and they provided me valuable guidance and advice on how to improve my resume, sharpen my interviewing skills, and target job openings that aligned with my experience.OFE also provided me with access to a wide range of job postings and career resources, which proved to be extremely useful. By attending just five days of training for targeted job I was selected by two companies. Thanks to your organization's efforts, I appreciate all that you have done for me, and I highly recommend your organization to others who may be in need of job search assistance Specially who are new here.

Opportunity For Employment does help.What you can get here:- assistance of a career coach- valuable training programs for free- various certifications- access to computers and the possibility to print your resume/supporting documents whenever you need this- mock interview to practice your skills of employer persuasion about your candidacy- and a lot of other thingsThe Team - is excellent, friendly, knowledgeable, supportive, attentive, and collaborative.The OFE service is in high demand, and it could take weeks from the first registration till you meet your facilitator. In my case, it took about 6 weeks. But it is worth doing that!After all, I have got a job which I wanted.I am sincerely grateful for all the assistance and support I got at OFE.I recommend the OFE center as a place to help get you employed. But remember that you are expected to be proactive on this path.

As a newcomer OFE is one of the best place to start your journey of understanding the people's culture. I recently participated in the Call centre essentials skills Workshop, it was an engaging and impactul experience. Skills acquired is unquantifiable.I must commend the effort of Employment Consultant, Brad Marsh, Employment Facilitator, Joana Correia and Employer liaison, Rosalie Tiongco all did their job fantastically well.I highly recommend OFE to all Newcomers.Good luck to all!

Great Organization. If you are a new immigrant, this place is for you. They literally would hold your hands to succeed . Excellent facilitators , very friendly and supportive .
