Lied to me and told me that Metropolis Cycle had sold my tires to another customer and that was not the case, Metropolis Cycle owner called me and said that they had not even arrived yet, they are still waiting for them to be delivered. I will never do anymore business with Detroit Moped works.

Don’t buy they try to make parts seem better then they are. They sold me a frame they said was usable but was clearly not usable and a e50 case that was warped from being in or on fire. The case is unusable and the frame has to be completely redone we’re the engine bracket mounts. Just be careful cause the don’t tell the whole truth just enough to get you to buy

Alex and his team do great work. I had a Honda Express they got running better (and faster), and then recently had them do some work to my 1977 Tomos A3sp. The moped fought them quite a bit (I was unaware how much of a pain A3sp's are to work on), but they made some suggestions, performed all the work, and it now drives, stops and looks awesome. It starts right up, and I use it damn near everyday for tooling around town, or running small errands. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

These guys are awesome, helped me get my 82 NU50 back on the road and looking way better than when I took it in.They also have a ton of E bikes, and now my wife wants one.Will be coming back forsure.

If I could give 10 stars I would!!! These guys are truly AMAZING! I think my moped was there the longest (1.75 years) and I wasn't even upset about it! Alex has to be the most patient person I know as well as the group of peeps that work there. I will never go anywhere else!! Thanks again for getting my oldie but a goodie running again!

Inquired about an engine block they had for sale on their website, asking if they could get measurements of the bolt holes for the reed block. 5 months went by before they responded, in which they didnt even address my single question.
