Best independent bookstore I've visited! The store is attached to a cafe so it's easy to grab a coffee and browse the huge selection that includes many Canadian and First Nation authors. The children's section includes games and activity kits. The front of the store features a wide selection of puzzles. Easy to spend an hour or more - especially when the resident purr box decides to cuddle up with you.Recommend at least stopping once here when you're in town!

What a wonderful store. Great selection of books and games and a lovely kids section as well. My whole family loves coming to this store, especially my children who enjoy getting to browse the amazing selection of kids books and toys and paying a visit to the adorable book store cat. Plus the fact that it is next to lily’s and the smell of fresh baked goods is in the air as you browse the books… well that can’t hurt. Staff is always helpful and friendly. One of our favourite stores in the county.

Love this store! The staff are always willing to bend over backwards to get us the books we want. They have an amazing collection of local authors and open up their space for community events and social justice conversations. We’re so lucky to have such a great store in our wee community. Pushkin (cat) snuggles make it that much better.

I seldom go in knowing exactly what I’ll leave with - their recommendations and rotation of books from a diverse range of writers and artists - always inspire me. It also has a fantastic children’s section that excites my children into reading and learningHOURS of enjoyment

I ADORE our community bookstore. They have a very large selection, spacious floorplan. It's so easy to browse through the books and games and gifts. I often come here when looking for something special to give as a gift around birthdays and holidays. And I love how inclusive, affirming, accepting and supportive this business is toward all people. Thank you for being a wonderful business within our community! (Especially during PRIDE month!)

My absolutely favourite place to spend a rainy afternoon. Not only do they have a shop cat (Pushkin ♥️), they are also such a safe and inclusive space. I can’t tell you the number of times they have helped me find the perfect gift for friends, family members, and clients. The staff go above and beyond and there is help, but no pressuring sales tactics. Books & Co. provides a variety of new and used books, quality toys, great puzzle and game selection, and they support local authors - which I love. This shop is a staple of Main Street Picton, and where I do 90% of my holiday shopping. The. Best. Ever.

Such an amazing store with a great selection of books, a great cafe and great staff. I love their seasonal sets in the window and their support for all things - be it indigenous, pride, etc. keep at it. And to that woman who commented a day ago complaining about the Pride window display - get lost and we don’t need your business.
