Ben is the best. He's always open to trying out new ideas and very friendly. I got a pair of custom denim from him and immediately feel in love with the end result. If you have ever wanted to get something special, I cannot recommend him highly enough. I'm already working with him on getting myself a denim jacket.

Ben is an extremely talented tailor and so easy to work with. I follow Ben on Instagram and his garments not only look awesome, his attention to detail is outstanding.I was perusing Ben's site and noticed he offers custom duck 15.5 ounce canvas jeans. I loved the brown canvas material! I must admit I was apprehensive about the thought of ordering a custom garment through a web site. However, the site provides detailed explanations of how to measure yourself and encourages contacting Ben via email to answer any questions prior to placing an order. So I decided to give it a try. I sent Ben an email with some measurements and fit pictures of a couple of pairs of jeans that I liked the fit. And noted things about the fit I did not like (e.g. it was hard to get my hands in the pockets, wanting deeper pockets so my phone would fit completely in the pocket, wanting the top block a little looser, types of rivets). Ben replied promptly with suggestions and recommendations. After a few emails I felt at ease and placed my order. The entire process was simple and straightforward. And what a great result. I could not be more pleased with my new jeans!I highly recommend contacting Ben to discuss making your next pair of jeans.

This is the first time I feel that I must write a review. The story is that I have a pair of jeans I like very much that needs to be repaired, so I found this shop on the google map. What's interesting is that I didn't trust ben at the beginning, maybe because I suffered from OCD for a long time. So I am extremely demanding on details and require everything to be perfect, so usually I didn’t trust anyone. So I spent a few days in a nervous mood(LOLLLLL), but today when I got the repaired pants, I was totally impressed by his skill, which is exactly what I want, and the details are far beyond I expected it, it was really great, everything is so appropriate thread color, thickness, stitching. It is obvious that Ben is really thinking while working, not just sewing it up, it adds more vintage vibe to this pair of pants and makes it more meaningful. I have to say I trust him completely now, and thank you very much! I am really looking forward to seeing you next time!

First time I've ever been inspired to leave a review, but after the great experience I had with Ben I felt like it was a must. I was recommended to Viapiana Custom Denim from another denim shop because my denim was too difficult to work with (32oz... I know). After Ben repaired my denim the fit was better than from the factory. After this amazing experience I'll only be coming here for all my denim needs! Also, I've been following his Instagram and his embroidery work is absolutely stellar, makes me want to get some shirts done by him aswell!

What a pleasure it was to meet Ben in his killer denim lair filled with a collection of highly sought after vintage Union sewing machines and other jean making paraphernalia. I am a total denim head and it was so nice to chat with a guy who's gone deep into the world of hand made selvedge denim. If you are looking for something special or custom made, look no further, he's your man.

Ben is so good at both customer service and craftsmanship. He hemmed my denim with vintage chain stitch in 5 mins and the result turned out just perfect. The price is also very reasonable.If you have a pair of good denim to be hemmed and don't want to screw up, just bring them to Ben, the professional will take good care of it.

Great custom denim shop. Excellent communication and takes in all your feedback. He's provided me repair and hem on multiple pairs of jeans and wool pants. I've had 2 pairs of jeans made by him and they all fit and way better quality than my other pairs. I own Oni, Rogue Territory, Naked & Famous and many other brands but the construction and attention to detail with Ben is on a whole nother level.
