Vancouver Island Thrift Store
I have shopped at this store often. Unfortunately the new staff memeber is terribly rude. They do not make eye contact and make horrible comments about costumers as they leave the store to next the next costumer in line. I understand staffing is an issue all over at the moment but I will no longer shop at this establishment due to poor costumer service.

To correct a previous review, this is NOT the Salvation Army thrift store. That store is a couple blocks away. The Salvation Army is well-known for being one of the most generous supporters of their local communities - their CEO making one of the smallest wages of all the registered charities in Canada. Their thrift stores are run mostly by volunteers, reducing their overhead markedly.The VI thrift store is the opposite: all the profits go to the owner. Businesses can write off up to 75% of their charitable donations each year so why isn't she supporting a cause? Instead, she allows homeless people to take stuff". Even if that's true

The lady that works there is so friendly and welcoming. She makes me want to shop there more.The store is kept clean and all the items are very reasonably priced. Five stars :)

Vancouver Island Thrift Store
Excellent thrift store with a customer loyalty program and staff that cares. Prices are fair and not necessarily firm. A number of different coloured price tags are used and every day 1 is chosen to be the 50% off colour. Bringing a donation also yields a 20% discount. I'm a big fan of supporting local business too!

Vancouver Island Thrift Store
This little thrift store doesn't look like much from the outside but it actually hides some good finds. They have a good shoe selection. Some nice clothing selections, they even have some evening formal dresses. They also have a few new items on offer. They have weekly sales to clear out older stock as well. Check it out you might just find your hidden gem.

I LOVE this thrift store. I appreciate the hard work of the staff as well as how kind and welcoming they always are. This thrift store has such a good variety of items and for a very reasonable price. This is where I bring all of my items to donate and in return where I usually shop!:) highly recommend. Especially since you're supporting a small, local business.
