Amazing Camp! Went there as a teen and helped as a nurse. Amazing programs, wild adventures and a place to grow and discover your faith! Thanks Qwanoes for serving the Lord so faithfully!

After a couple of years trying to get in, we finally got in for Qwanoes. My son just came back from his first time at this camp and he absolutely loved it!!! So much so that he’s already asked to be signed up again next year. He’s been to other camps and this one was by far the best. He had lots of fun, made lots of friends and loved the food and all the activities. A big kudos to his cabin counsellor too (cabin 42): in his words “we had the best one!”.

This camp is a grand opportunity it's not to religious unlike people say like 1/10 time is religious . Camp leaders are great and the activities are even better . Waning it is religious but it dose not force you. You do have to be there but nothing else

If you care for your child don't send them here. This IS a cHRISTIAN CONVERSION CAMP....they are not interested in changing their barbaric rules, they would rather defend them.

Went to a weekend retreat in the early 2000s, was told I had to “accept Jesus into my heart” even though I was already a baptized Christian and had attended church since infancy (Anglican Church). They pushed messaging about chastity prior to marriage in a manipulative way. Great setting, lots of fun activities, but definitely push kids to their own version of Christianity.

I didn't go to the camp myself other than to dropoff and pick up, but our kids have been talking about all the fun they had during the week nonstop since we picked them up over an hour ago, so it must have been good.

So, for the promo video, it seems like a grand thing for children to do. As for actual experience... well, Christians and Christianity are given the pedestal of privilege. Any others will be subjected to belittlement and forced religious conversion. From personal experience as a First Nations woman SHOULD BE a thing of the past. NEVER to be put into action in a seggregative, demeaning, and isolating experience. We send our children to camps to have a FUN experience and let themselves be themselves! NOT be told they are in living sin or going to hell! Disgusting this conversionism is STILL a practice in ANY VENUE OR CHILDREN'S CAMP!

This is a warning for parents before you book - make no mistake this is a CHRISTIAN CONVERSION CAMP. The promo video makes it look like an adventure camp but it is 80% religious programming and 20% activities (if you are lucky enough to get in line in time for any activity as they get booked up -so no guarantee). I asked in advance specifically about the amount of religious rhetoric and was told it was minor but it was major. I was also not told that phones and any medication are taken from your kid at the ferry so no communication allowed with your child unless they call home with a phone card. This is violation of rights. Boys are girls are separated - why? There is also a lot of down time (hours in some cases ) between events. Food is terrible - showers are cold, which is insane considering the cost of the camp. Again was also not told to bring a bible - if they had I would have not booked - maybe that is their strategy. The wesbite is misleading and the promo video is false advertsing. if a Christian camp is what you are looking for then this is for you but if you are looking for an adventure camp this isn't it.

Awesome camp! I love that my kids now get to go to the same camp I went to, and hear about God's love for them, while having a lot of fun too.
