Doug and his crew did a wonderful job. They were prompt and professional throughout their stay. Doug is very personable, knowledgeable and honest, and we look forward to having him do more work on our home in the future.

Savage Stone Masonry is 100% a customer first type of business. I had two projects on the go at the time I required Savage Stone Masonry to complete some work on my house. Doug re-arranged his schedule to allow for no interruption to the over all plan. He showed up on time and completed extremely professional work. Even the neighbours were sending compliments. He even offered to assist to remove an old satellite dish.

Everything about Savage Masonry (Hamilton) has been outstanding. The price was competitive, Doug's communication was timely and clear, and the quality of the work was great. My roofers commented on the workmanship of the chimney removal, as well as Doug's friendliness. Doug even left the scaffolding in place to allow the roofers to use it following the completion of the chimney removal, a really helpful gesture. His timelines were also flexible to accommodate our scheduling. Thanks for the great masonry service Doug! Highly recommended.

Doug of Savage Stone Masonry just completed the removal (shortening) of a chimney that was no longer in use and was in bad shape and a danger to people standing in my neighbour's driveway. When discussing the work that he would be doing he mentioned the dripline that would be under the new chimney cap. I need no further convincing that he knew his trade very well. My neighbour was very impressed with the cleanup that Doug and his crew did in the driveway. Would recommend Doug anytime!

Doug and his crew were amazing! Professional, courteous and kind. Doug squeezed me in so that I could move forward with my bathroom renos...cutting it close, last day of nice weather, November 24th/25th. Found bricks to match an 80 year old home. Nigel did an Amazing job! Even filled some old cracks that were left when a down spout was removed years ago, extra. More than what I expected!!! They cleaned everything before leaving. I would definitely call them again for future jobs.

Doug was fantastic! We just bought an old brick house and kept discovering new and weird tiny jobs that required a mason, and Doug helped us with all of them. We will continue to use Savage Stone Masonry as long as we have a brick house.

Doug of Savage Stone Masonry just completed a repair of my chimney and we were very pleased with his work. What started out to be some bricks that needed replacing turned out to be a bigger job than we thought. On his first inspection he discovered that a raccoon had taken over my fireplace and had three baby racoons in residence. Doug was able to get the raccoon out of the chimney, we were then able to remove the babies and return them to the mother.On a further inspection he found that there was considerable hidden damage, the flue had been cracked and broken in a number of places. All of the damage was explained to me as he was inspecting it. He showed me where there was erosion in the mortar joints of the bricks and the bricks were not secure. As the fireplace had not been used for over 30 years he suggested we cap the chimney. The alternate was a complete rebuild of the chimney from the roof line up.We went with his recommendation of capping the chimney with a custom made cap. Doug made sure that all the remaining bricks and joints were secure and he also replace quite a few bricks that had cracked below the roof line. His workmanship was excellent and he protected the gardens in the work area. On completion he cleaned up and washed down the area to our satisfaction.I would highly recommend Savage Stone Masonry, Doug took the time to explain what he was doing and why, nothing was hidden. I trusted his expertise and professionalism for his craft.

Couldn't be more happy choosing Savage Stone Masonry to replace stone on the front of my house. The owner was available day and night and stayed in touch with us throughout the project. Very personable. They wouldn't take a dime until the project was complete and we were happy. They cleaned up behind themselves and didn't leave a trace. Great Job!!! I highly recommend these gents.
