Had reservations for 2 on a Saturday at the beginning of February. We used the valet services as well.The staff were great, friendly, and accommodating. The food was very fresh and tasty. We ordered a large amount of plates and they spread them out during the 2 hours of our reservations. The drinks were top notch and they were not stingy on the alcohol! Would definitely recommend and am looking forward to going back, hopefully in the summertime so I can enjoy the terrasse.

I really enjoy Jatoba. Chef Olivier Vigneault is an absolutely charm.My partner and I extremely enjoy sashimi. Every time we go to Jatoba, we embarrassingly order the largest order of sashimi they offer... each. It's always super fresh and expertly cut.The other dishes on their menu are also delicious. I recommend the duck fried rice and gyoza. They also have nice cocktails. A notable favorite that has remained on their menu for a few years is the Aloha Jatoba, which is a ginger flavored cocktail.I would recommend Jatoba to anyone looking for high quality food and an overall enjoyable dining experience. Lovely experience at Jatoba from the fresh, unique dishes to the wonderful, attentive service. May be a little pricey but the quality is definitely there!

Walked in for dinner on a weekday evening and although the restaurant was full, the host was very accommodating and said as long as we finished in 1.5 hours we could sit. The waiters/waitresses were very polite and also very clean, with picking up utensils from the edge and immediately grabbing a new napkin when one fell on thr floor. Everyone helped each other out. The ambiance was very classy, a bit dim but the light fixtures and decor were very nicely done. We got a sashimi bowl (12 pieces) which the chef delivered and explained each fish to us. Also got the king oyster mushroom dish, chicken dish, and black cod. All were very rich and delicious. Highly recommend!

I heard a lot about this place over years but ever made it due to the incomprehensible waiting list. My first impressions were that the place had dead energy. From the guests to the wait staff. No conversation, no asking how the food was, no recommendations. Even the sushi chefs in front of us didn't breathe a word to us. I was expecting this funky Japanese fusion joint but the inside looked like an abandoned church. My firecracker dumplings were good, finely made. My lamb dish belonged in a mediocre Chinese restaurant. I did not order any sushi as I want to find out how good this place was with its other dishes.The dessert might look interesting to you, but was mediocre at best. You have to crack through the dome to get not much inside, highly unsatisfying. For the price, the waiting list, not worth it.

The vibe here is perfect for a date night. I loved the crispy rice dish a lot. Everything else was good too but not something I would crave again. Had some good mocktails as well.

Decor is beautiful and great vibe! The food..not so much. Yes you can taste the fresh ingredients but definitely overpriced for the flavour. Waiter was very cold as well, and we felt rushed. If you’re going to splurge on a dinner, go somewhere else.

Nice ambiance, cute restaurant, small portions... I'm very disappointed, because after specifying that I can't eat spicy, I was served a super spicy dish...Salmon was delicious.

Fantastic food - from the presentation to taste it was fantastic. However, I did wait approximately 30 to 40 minutes to put in my food order. And I was distracted by the line cooks at the bar which made the wait less frustrating. Most staff are quiet friendly. I loved the atmosphere and was happy to have visited. I will come back again. Maybe I will try to avoid busy hours as service was slower than expected. However kudos to everyone - I do believe all the cooks and chefs there along with the bartenders truly care about what they do, and they are excellent professionals.

What to say? Everything was great. The food was delicious, cooked to perfection. The service was good considering the restaurant was full. Staff is friendly and the place really beautiful. They also have a concept where it is perfect to share plates among friends or family. The menu is not exaustive, but there's something for all asian" taste; vegetarians will also be pleased. A little pricy
