Staff serving a table of 12+ during Covid, patrons walking around hitting on women.The windows in my first room did not lock, and were accessible from the roof so I asked for another room. The next day I got another room and the windows didn't lock in that room either. The decor is very outdated, and were not very clean. Hair in bathtub that wasn't mine (I'm a redhead, hair was black or brown) The price isn't even competitive for nicer hotels in town. The food has gone downhill too from the restaurant, frozen veggies, frozen chicken, overall mediocre food.I will not be staying here again.

The lady at the front desk was very friendly but the temperature was way too cold when I entered the room. I turned it up and it took until the next day before it started getting tolerable because it is an old boiler system. I never told the front desk even though they told me to let them know if there was anything missing but because I got in late and was too tired I didn't. I just decided to sleep in my clothes with a toque on. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the shower was warm and I got a discounted rate because I had called to reserve a room at Twin Pines and it is closed and they are under the same ownership. Okay for $59.50 all in.

The staff is amazing and so helpful! If there is any issue or concerns they are quick to resolve them! Got moved to this hotel when Twin Pine wasn’t open and they upgraded me to a roomie suite! The water pressure and heat is amazing as well

This modest hotel in the little Albertan town of Hinton served us well. The staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant food was tasty and reasonably priced. There is a comfortable lounge in the hotel or for music, food and a lively crowd there is a bar on site.The rooms and bathroom were clean and warm considering it was minus 25 degrees Celsius in the evenings! The beds had good linen, and the mattress was comfy. The small kitchenette and fridge were helpful. Steps away from the hotel, you can pick up some tasty beef jerky and candied salmon at the Yukon Sausage butcher shop. It's well worth it.

Super comfortable bed and suite. We had a relaxing stay. Toilet could be updated. Shower has amazing pressure and heat. Agree with another reviewer that the glass blocks above the door let in a little too much light at night from the hallway. After big days of hiking, it didn't affect sleep quality though!The restaurant downstairs is fantastic. The food was tasty and the servers were the nicest I've met in a month of travelling in North America.

Nancy the manager was so wonderfully helpful and hospitable during our stay. She was so lovely and kind. We had some issues with our booking but she took care of everything so swiftly and upgraded us to a beautiful suite for the evening. It really made our trip so much better ! The suite was very clean and same with the hotel, I was very impressed. Will most definitely be returning and referring the Athabasca Inn and Suites to travelling friends and family !

Spend the extra few bucks and go up the road to a clean hotel. I don’t think this hotel should be able to give people rooms that dirty. Very old and outdated. Smells like cigarettes, no lights, floor is crooked and the bathroom and sheets were very dirty.

The Athabasca Valley Inn & Suites is a great spot in Hinton that offers nice, clean rooms for a great price with both smoking and pet friendly rooms available. Kerri checked us in was very helpful and accommodating during our stay. A great community owned business with a nice local feel. I would definitely stay here again.
