Shoppers Drug Mart

Store has a decent amount of things if your just making a quick stop to grab something. However I've had numerous run ins with employees that have been rude (talked to a manager three times who never called me back regarding the issue) as well as a manager who was unnecessarily rude when the POS system went down. Instead of coming up with a plausible solution to hold my items and come back he blamed it on me even though it was a several customer issue.

Unfortunate that the service is not very good and the pharmacy is even worse. They need a new haul of staff that doesnt look like they hate their jobs. Hopefully leadership steps up and puts some pep in everyone’s step :)

Simply the worst customer service, always. There is never enough staff to ask a question of, the staff generally flee the front area and if you ask a question they become very defensive and argumentative. This is not a good look for a store, but it comes down to the management: poor Alyssa today trembled when I asked her a question about the post office. Thank goodness security was doing circles around me just to make sure I didn't ask any questions that made her cry.

When this Shoppers originally opened, it had excellent customer service and a genuine, neighbourhood pharmacy feel. We enjoyed shopping there and got to know a number of the employees.Over the last number of years, the quality of service has deteriorated significantly.With one or two very notable exceptions, the pharmacy staff acts disinterested and sometimes rude (there is one woman who is consistently very good, though).Most of the other staff seem equally indifferent to customers, sometime bordering on rude.There is a woman regularly in the post office who is very good, but this is an exception to the general trend at this store.It has been very disappointing to watch the quality deteriorate so significantly. We are now shopping here less and less, but wish it would turn around. I don't know what happened, but I would encourage the owners to pay attention to training staff on friendliness and customer service.

Whatcom Shoppers Pharmacy is always friendly and will take their time to go the extra mile even during busy times.Extra note-For trans folks seeking medical care, this pharmacy goes the extra step to ensure they use the proper name for their patients. A nice change from previously visited locations.

This is a great pharmacy with excellent pharmacists and technicians. They are very knowledgeable and friendly + they always have my prescriptions ready in a reasonable timeframe. 10/10!

This pharmacy is brutal. Everything takes forever, and some of the employees are just rude. I was in the other day and my dr was closed and prescription wouldn’t go through and I had a copy of the prescription and they refused to take it. They don’t even offer to call the doctors office to work out why the fax wasn’t going through or figure out a solution. The girl behind the counter actually was laughing and being really insensitive about this. I was actually in tears. They were somewhat busy so they clearly just wanted me to leave.

Went all the way down to the store to find out that they closed 2 hrs early. both their site and Google said 10pm as well as the big sign on the building. No medicine for me tonight.

I used to like Whatcom Shoppers for their card selection, not any more. One wedding card?!? Really?!?! That's unacceptable. They were not sold out, they just had one option. It's June. FYI their Anniversary card selection is aweful too. Not a lot of other reasons to go in anymore.

The staff at Shoppers Whatcom are always amazingly friendly and helpful. We’ve had nothing but excellent service and care from everyone. My monthly prescription can be somewhat complicated, but the pharmacy always helps me sort the challenges out.Their prices are excellent, especially if you have a PC Optimum card, and the staff are constantly updating their specials.I cannot recommend this store enough!
