Kirk, Jim and all of the staff at the Mattatall funeral home were angels in my darkest hour. They gently walked me and my family through every step with such compassion and understanding and became like family to us in the short time that we met them. They helped me to create the celebration of life that I needed and the one my husband deserved. I will forever be grateful for the experience our family had at Mattatall's and would recommend them to everyone who is looking for an authentic way to celebrate their loved one's life and passing. <3

Kirk assisted my family years ago with the passing of my grandmother. When my father recently passed unexpectedly, I was inconsolable and had no idea where to turn. We called Matatalls and Kirk answered the phone. I immediately felt a sense of relief, and chose to proceed because it was him, someone who had created such relief for our family many years ago. I am so grateful for his kindness, wisdom and compassion. Such a beautiful human being.

AL Mattatall was excellent, kind, and courteous when helping us plan for our father's service. They made the experience easy for us and helped us decide what would be best for our family without being pushing or rushing us. We would recommend using this funeral home for anyone dealing with the loss of a loved one.

Kirk Rudolph and his associates provided excellent service, care andkindness in this most difficult time for my wife and her brother. Theybent over backwards, to make sure that everything we needed or thathad to be done was handled by them without hesitation. Nothingseemed to be a problem. We would would highly recommend them.

Mattatalls funeral home in Dartmouth was very good to Mom and the family Kaitlyn and Carolyn were sooo helpful. We needed a fast turn around because family was leaving in few days. Those girls made it happen. And fast. And professional. Highly recommend this funeral home

The staff at Mattatall's were great to work with during the worst of times. They treated us as a family and the whole process with the upmost dignity and respect.

Really disappointing experience. The representative came to talk with me in hospice in the final days I had with my husband. She tried to up-sell me multiple times and would not offer a price for the services I was looking for but instead just kept asking me what the service was worth and what I would be willing to pay. At the time we spoke, I told her my husband only had weeks at most left to live. This experience was extremely difficult and upsetting in a time of my life when I was facing the worst. I found another funeral home to work with and considered the matter closed after sending an email letting them know we would not be using their service. Now, today, I received a call from them, asking to speak with my husband saying he had initiated contact with them and they were following up (my husband never spoke with them even once). He died 7 mths ago. Nothing in my experience with this funeral home would lead me to ever recommend them to anyone going through the loss of a family member.
