Hillside Massage Therapy

I was first treated by Rob Paradis of Hillside Massage Therapy in 2003 when he began taking appointments at the gym my husband and I were attending at the time. Since then; my husband and I have not gone to anyone else for treatement other than him or someone employed in his practice. We have followed him from his gym practice, to both his home practices and now to his new and much more central location on Bowen Road. Rob is incredibly knowledgeable in his craft and training. He is constantly striving to improve his skills and makes sure to enroll in courses available to him in order to do so. He has a vast knowledge in not only the anatomy necessary to perform his job but is always available to suggest physio exercises and stretches to perform at home in order to maximize the benefit of treatement provided. He is incredibly professional, open minded, light-hearted and sensitive to patients needs. He will always surprise you with his array of music playing in his treatement room depending on his daily mood.He has always made me feel very much at ease and has always been incredibly responsive to aches and pains that required attention. If you are in need of some talk therapy he is always available to lend an ear and you can rest assured that it will be kept in the strictest of confidences.It should also be known that Rob is trained in pregnancy massage. Throughout both my pregnancies I frequented his practice and his pregnancy pillow was a welcome addition to my expanding body.With as busy as we all seem to be in life, I particularly enjoy the fact that I am able to make/cancel appointments online. With his newly expanded practice, it's also great that if you are not able to connect with him, you will surely be able to find a suitable appointment time with one of the therapists in his practice whom will provide you with the best treatement and care available.A couple of added benefits are also that Rob is bilingual, fluent in French, and that he is also a Registered Massage Therapist which means you are able to submit your receipts to your extended health plan. He is often able to submit them on the spot for you as his practice is linked with a few extended health program providers.You will not regret making Rob and his fellow Therapists part of your self/health care routine.

Love Tiffany she is awesome . It is a nice Clinic a bit dated but very clean and quiet which is always a plus when you're having a massage, I like the fact that you get reminders the day of your appointment and a couple of hours before.I would recommend them.

I have visited a lot of RMT's in my time and in my experience Rob and Hillside Massage therapists are the real deal. They are professional, knowledgeable, and for anyone looking for a quality RMT look no further. They are accommodating and listen to your unique issues or needs. Highly recommend Hillside Massage!

I dont get messages often and Rob was booked until sept. I took a gamble and booked with Matt as I'd had a message from another man there at some point thought it may be him. Though it did note he wasnt accepting new clients, I thought this may have been the RMT I'd had before and if not I'd hear from him... fast forward to 7:45am, my set appt. No contact prior, no show.The follow up message I got put the blame on me, the customer, that I hadn't set up email responses. My email address is in the system.Too bad because Rob is amazing and so are his messages but since his relocation it hasnt been the same.

Had a great massage with Matt. He was able to help identify all my areas of pain and provided a great deal of relief. Professional and expert experience, would highly recommend.

I had a treatment with Jackson for tension around my left upper back and some left knee pain. Before the session we discussed some of the areas that were potentially contributing to the restrictions as we went through our assessment. The treatment was precise and targeted into those areas, but at the same time gentle and relaxing. After getting up I felt very refreshed and the ranges of motion definitely improved significantly. The exercises he gave me are effective and challenging in a good way. Overall I highly recommend Jackson if you're looking for a more specific approach to nagging and chronic issues!

Quality massage, great service. Good pricing, and even better automatic billing with benefits..I would give 5 stars, but the hours are admittedly awful. The hours don't cater to a standard working family man or woman. Almost impossible to get weekend, and not open late.

Spencer is very skilled, I have advanced fibromyalgia and have never been able to tolerate any massage therapy. When I was in an accident I didn't know what I was going to do however I was quite sure that I would not be able to handle any massage therapy.Thanks Spencer for proving me wrong; also for fixing me every time I overdo it in my garden or just do stupid things.

Great place, wheelchair accessible. My therapist here is Matt V. He is an absolute wealth of knowledge and talent with a really friendly personality. A professional through and through - Definitely go see this man.

I've recently started coming here and my experience has been great so far. I recently saw Brooklyn and the results were immediately noticeable. She also took the time after my appointment to show me a stretch I should start doing. Each therapist runs their own appointments and uses their personal style of massage, so even if one person isn't a match for you, there's likely another person here that's worth visiting. I love the online appointment system and haven't had any issues on the benefits side of things.
