SLEEKFENCE™

I used Sleek fence as a privacy barrier on my deck here in Ontario. The product is first class and very high quality. From an engineering standpoint, here in Ontario the fence sections had to be 4' or less in width. The people at Sleek fence provided all of the engineering drawings and specifications so that I could get local approval. Since Sleek fence only came in 6' sections, I had to cut them down to 3' to use them on my deck. That required purchasing extra components and putting everything together myself. That turned out very straight forward to do. Of course it would have been much easier if I could purchase the 3' sections directly from Sleek fence.I highly recommend Sleek fence for this application. The deck turned out great. If you want to use Sleek fence for your deck, be sure to check your local requirements from a engineering point of view. If you are in Ontario you will need 4' or less sections.

This was a very enjoyable experience ordering from Sleekfence. They were able to get the yard dimensions extremely accurate for amount of product needed. Shipping was very efficient and easy to work with the company. The quality of the product is excellent and of course it looks spectacular, would highly recommend!!

I’ve installed a couple of homes with these now. Such a great product. While other types of fencing were getting beaten and damaged because of our harsh winters. The Sleekfence was bulletproof. Looks absolutely incredible. Exceptional customer service. The shipping to the US and delivery to jobsites was headache free. Because of its overall weight and cost. I would highly recommend having a contractor install it. But would recommend.

We installed Sleek Fence for a project a few months back and we're very happy with the way it turned out. The price is high however these fences feel STURDY and will outlive any cedar or composite fence

Amazing product. As a contractor I was very impressed with the quality and ease of instalation. The service department was incredible with answering all the questions I had and ensuring I had ordered the proper materials. The client that I installed the fence for was very pleased with there new fence. Looking forward to the next one!

This is a high quality and well made product. We hired a professional fence contractor to install it, but I imagine someone with a little time and the property tools could install it themselves. The fence is unique, sturdy and beautiful. I can’t give it 5 stars because of two reasons. One, it does scratch fairly easily. After installation we were left with a fair amount of scratches on the panels. It’s not too noticeable but it’s something to note. Also, a white residue does build up on the fence over time with rain/snow. We have to wash the fence and hand dry it, so that’s a little labor intensive. If you’re willing to treat it with care (be gentle when transporting/installing and wash it a few times a year), then it will probably be a great fit for your yard. Definitely much better than the alternative (wood, vinyl).

After a great deal of research I decided to use the Sleek fence line.All of the parts are of top quality. If you are a hobbiest this is an excellent product for you.My goal was a 30 year product that will keep it's high end stature (there is cheaper products out there).I tend to work out of the box" and after viewing the components decided they would allow me to go "Full Timmy" as my clients have said in the past.The fence is hung on the side of a retaining wall and the corners are mitered to make the corners stand out.The stairs are cut at same angle as the rise/run...because it is the look I wanted (tougher than it looks).I really liked the privacy fence due to a public walkway

Firstly, I waited over a year to write this thorough review in order to have experienced any challenges or drawbacks to the fence and to give an honest appraisal because this is an investment.Overall, this was one of the best upgrade investments for my ordinary 1970's home without having to remodel the exterior.Your first concern will be doing business out of the US.I had no problem at all- zero-flawless.As a matter of fact , Neil spent an inordinate amount of time and patience calculating my, often changing needs. I did however, purchased extra fencing pieces, as a back plan, given the company is in Canada, and I didn't want to risk needing an extra piece and paying for shipping.Your next concern may be the cost. My investment has given me immense rewards in terms of esthetics, ease of installment( I used a fencer that stated that all parts dovetail and is efficiently logical to install) and quality of product that I have NO regrets on the cost. Vinyl fences/block fences are costly.I considered one aluminum fence company but the installation looked more complex therefore requiring more labor more$$$- besides the fence was not nearly as aesthetically appealing as SleekFence and with more design options.I live in an ordinary 70's track home house , in an ordinary middle class neighborhood.The SleekFence transformed ordinary to extraordinary.As you can see by the pictures , I dealt with elevation changes, of which were not that difficult but I did put much thought in the function , and the measuring , in order to cover neighbors white vinyl fence. There is also dovetailing of fencing , a block wall and the preexisting brown fencing that worked well.The next maybe weather conditions:I live in So Cal in an area that is known for high winds.The fencing withstood up to 60-70 mph gusts. I paid attention to wind direction where I installed the open slates and the closed privacy slates as well to a lesser extent.Negatives;CleaningIf you live wear there are lots of birds , you likely won't appreciate seeing the white bird droppings on a black drop.If you live in an area of frequent rain, this is no problem- simply wipe off after a rain. I do wipe off the bird droppings and have not experienced damaging finish.Dust: I live in a dusty, drier climate.Yes , when I am up close to the fence I can see dust on the open slates. If that bothers you, select closed privacy pieces.Personally, I see the big picture and I like have the open fencing because it allows air, sunlight and simply creates an inviting , say hello, front yard.Cleaning; I live in a hard water district. I find that I have less work if I , simply buy a few gallons of distilled water to rinse.Yes, I do clean my fence each season( at least the first year :-)) and I dovetailed it when the weather makes it easier.Most people probably wont clean their fences and won't need to .I know this was an extensive but necessary review, for a superb product and excellent support staff and company.I hope this helps the consumer make the right choice.Latigo Canyon Rider

This was my first project using Sleek fence and would definitely recommend it, very high quality product. Installation was straightforward and there are not too many components you need, panels are pre assembled.
