Thank you Matrix Locksmith for fixing my multipoint mechanism door lock! As the multipoint locking system failed on me and the door wouldn't lock.I have searched over the internet/ Google for a professional to repair my Multi-point door lock, and finally found Matrix to come to my house in Toronto, the same day of my call.The locksmith was fantastic! very professional and fair priced for the service.I would highly recommend their Multipoint door and lock services! ​

Called Matrix and spoke to Danny regarding the cost to make keys for a 1969 VW Karmann Ghia because the originals were lost. He quoted that it would cost $350-$400 including labour and travel time to get keys made because of how old the car was. After doing some further research, I found out that there's a key code engraved into the door handles that you can refer to and have new keys made for $30cdn which I successfully accomplished. Matrix Locksmith and specifically Danny had the ability to provide helpful information that would facilitate in getting keys cut but chose not to and instead provided a quote of $350-$400? Another locksmith that I contacted provided me with this information and I was able to get keys cut for $30 with no issues. Hopefully others will read this review and avoid being misinformed by Danny who really should evaluate his moral values and not attempt to make a high profit from the elderly moving forward. Will never do business with this company moving forward.

Great experience overall! I called Saturday afternoon and Denny was able to come and get me 2 new car key replacements before Sunday noon. Would highly recommend to anyone I know! Competitive pricing too.

I had the pleasure of meeting Danny and how much he was a total professional at his craft! The task on hand got more complicated than anticipated due to my error but Danny quickly came up with alternative solutions and McGiver fixes. All I can say he is well equipped with inventory and I warn people of buying keys from alternative sources don’t pay in the long run which was my mistake. Best locksmith service in the Toronto area! had my front door lock and handle set change, I chose the beautiful lock set from the options the locksmith gave me, he at the same time installed the new lock and handle. The lock installation took about 40 minutes, the work was clean and professional . very happy with the service.Thank you for not only providing your locksmith services with the lock change but also being such a good conversational persona, very bright Yonge man !
