Pet Zones Stay & Play

We brought our cat for a few days while we were out of town. As we weren't entirely sure when we were leaving on our trip, I was particularly pleased with the ability to make changes online seamlessly.They took photos of our pet during their stay and posted them to Facebook so we could see how much he was enjoying himself.He was very happy to be able to interact with other cats and a view of nature (his favorite pastime). Very pleased with Petzones. Zach and Megan are very accommodating and communication is next level!Our 2 chocolate labs love their time spent there and head home leaving all of their excess energy at Petzones.I highly recommend!

I have been taking my Brittany Spaniel, Ice” to Pet Zones since they opened and I highly recommend them. The owners and staff are amazing, friendly and professional. They really know what they are doing and you can see how much they love the dogs!!The facility is always clean, the dogs have alot of time outside in a beautifully wooded area which is perfect for Ice. They offer a number of other services, a one stop shop, which is so convenient. And I get to see what he is doing while he is there through their Facebook page which is great too!Ice is generally a shy dog with other dogs and Pet Zones has been great at helping him adapt and are cognizant of what the dogs need and don’t need to do well.I trust them 110% with my boy.

We would highly recommend Pet Zones for your dog. We booked our 2yr old beagle (Joni) for 2 weeks in Aug/2022 and when we picked her up she was happy and healthy. Staff provided positive feedback to us at pick up. We also really appreciated the daily photos Pet Zones posted on their Facebook page so we could see our pup while we were away.

Our 2 pups, Sugar and Murphy, have been staying here since Pet Zones opened.They love it!We love it!I’m a very nervous dog mom and never thought I’d feel comfortable leaving my pups for a day, let alone overnight, with anyone.Not only am I comfortable……it’s actually been good for me and great for the dogs.The play and socialization is really having a positive impact …..especially on our little Sugar, who, like her mom, can be a little grumpyMegan and Zac are very attentive and I appreciate their “hands on approach” to their business, and, most importantly, they are awesome with our dogs.We get photos of our pups .......and texts if they have questions.We trust them with everything!All the staff know our dogs by name and temperament and we can tell they feel safe and loved.TRUE 5 STAR FACILITYMarie Doucet

My Baine Gerlach has been going there and he loves it! I took my Evie girl too and again, loves it! I’m so pleased with everyone and everything they do for my dogs!

Our 8 1/2 month old puppy has stayed happily at Pet Zones twice and will again soon. She loves the extra playtime and walking that they provide and comes home exhausted ! We enjoy seeing the pictures that are posted , this gives us pleasure knowing that she is enjoying her doggie vacation .

The Pros from my experience were: They are on route from Ottawa to Toronto when driving down 416. They have a few different packages for your pets needs. A slight discount for both of my dogs in same kennel. They were very accommodating to pick up on off hours which was very helpful and appreciated.The staff seem to communicate well amongst each other. Climate control. A small outdoor area attached to their space. They were happy to administer my Pups ear drops daily.The cons for me were: They prefer everything be automated through website and seems to be difficult to speak with someone which I feel isn't very personal. I don't know what a standard kennel size is but seemed very narrow in my mind and as the sides of kennel are also cage as apposed to something solid and semi private they are right beside next dog and my dogs as I left were shaking which wasn't a great feeling. I was informed as I dropped them off that there was a outbreak of kennel cough so when I picked them up 4 days later they were very sick which as a former and current dog owner a first for me. I would have liked a heads up in advance as I might have found alternative arrangements.The 3 stars is not a reflection of their performance per se because the staff were very friendly when you are there and can actually speak with someone in person, but my personal preferences when looking for the most comfortable situation for me and our little dogs.

I've been 'invited' to leave a review by the website's automated system otherwise I would not be writing. In short I DO NOT recommend using this kennel. Past events have left me dissatisfied with the new owners; this latest one takes the cake. After an 8 day recent stay my dog has kennel cough & therefore must be isolated for 7-10 days. What I can't abide is not being informed that this was, and perhaps still is, an issue. Other dog owners have told me that the problem started at least 3 weeks ago. Why was I not informed & therefore given the opportunity to leave or not leave my dog under their care???? Did she benefit from the very expensive package I paid for? I highly doubt it. She did come home with a newly washed bed - a complimentary service I was told. (You can read between the lines here). When I asked if she had fun playing with the other dogs, the reply was she sure enjoys finding sticks for me to throw"."

Was rushing to hopefully find a boarding facility to leave my dog at during the family day long weekend, and came across pet zones. Only facility near Ottawa that still had availability, so we booked with them. Due to poor road conditions, we arrived an hour late to drop off; the facility was super welcoming and made necessary accommodations. At pickup, whiskey was happier than ever, and the staff chatted to us a bit about his stay. Great pricing. Definitely going back.
