Co-op Food Store

While in Wpg we find Coop food and pharmacy services better than the big store competitors. Get a larger equity cheque by using the Red River Coop gas bars throughout the City. Yes, it's worth it!

This store is good for every day shopping as it is quite well stocked with a good selection of products and fresh fruits and vegetables. They don't stock a lot of specialty items...but I think this is expected for the size of town. Staff were very accommodating when I only wanted a few potatoes and not a whole bag.

Fantastic Local Grocery StoreThis grocery store offers the best selection of local and Western Canadian products, as well as a small but varied global" section of jams/cookies/teas/etc. Their produce section has started carrying many more organic items - YES!! They have really increased their offerings of Manitoba products like Arctic Char

I would like to see Co-op grocery store have an Express till for those of us who only have 2-3 items rather than standing in long line with people ahead that have full carts. Every time I go there, it’s like this.

This is a great medium sized grocery store. Lots of selection and lots of space to shop. Staff are super. They have the fastest checkout person I have ever met!I can cover so much in one place with Co-op Hardware, Co-op gas and banking services near by.

Nice smaller Co Op even though it just underwent an addition last year. Also a Co Op Home Center and gas station in the immediate vicinity.

Store is always clean and well stocked with a variety of products. Only issue is there is always a line up at cash. They only ever have one clerk working and when the line gets big they call more up. After they clear the line all the cashiers leave. This constantly repeats an itself. Why not keep at least two available and at the till? Especially at peak times. The line also stretches all the way through the freezer section. Cashiers have to yell at customers to come forward. Just such a strange and awkward set up. Not sure what the rationale or reason is behind this. Wish they would go back to normal till line ups and have more cashiers working at the tills consistently.

Just another expensive COOP store, but has a good bakery. They fool people with the rebate cheque idea, but to each their own

Mostly good customer service. Nice to have local. For big grocery shopping going into winnipeg is cheaper, despite the gas prices being higher.

Nice grocery store. They don’t have everything that a huge big box store would have (obviously), but I rarely need something that isn’t here.The renovations that are being completed now are quite nice. Will make the store a little bigger than it was before, but not so big to make the store daunting.I’ve never had any trouble with any of the items purchased. Things seem fresh and free of debris / bugs.Perhaps the things I most like about this store are the staff and the local feel. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I also love how I can get most thing either grown / made in Manitoba or at least in Canada.Great place to shop!
