Soul Food Crystals and Books

This store is amazing. Linda (the store owner) went above and beyond to find a replacement pendant for me. She is a lovely person who understands that the customer is not purely a transaction, but is a human being. I love the products in this store and although I live out of town, I make it a point to drop in every time I'm in Calgary. You can't go wrong shopping here!

I just popped into this store today for the first time. the best vibes i’ve gotten from any crystal store i’ve visited honestly. a great selection on oracle and tarot decks and fair prices for everything. i will be back when i have more time.

I have been coming here on and off for the last two years when I discovered this store and my recent visit has convinced me to make Soul Food a more frequent stop. The store has amazing Yin energy and you just automatically feel peaceful from the first step in. It's like a quiet and magical oasis away from how chaotic and colourful Kensington can be. Some of my best jewellery pieces come from this store. I own some crystals from Soul Food as well and they have one of the best curated collections in the city. I also find some rare and hard to find tarot decks here. Overall, I really recommend this store and truly believe it's one of Calgary's metaphysical gems.

This is a cool place with a great selection of crystals, books, and other interesting items. I will definitely be coming here for gifts. It also smells really good in here! The shop clerk is always very sweet and helpful.

Love this store. It's in a convenient area with lots of parking in the residential area behind the store. The vibe here is so peaceful and magical. They have so many amazing stones, crystals, gems, books, cards, decor- the list goes on. The lady working there was very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely go back next time i'm in Calgary!

So today I went into soul foods Crystal because I was interested in buying products to sage/sudge my home. When I arrived the lady working greeted me but was helping somebody at that time. I proceeded to walk around the store and quickly came back around to wait for some assistance. I noticed the worker and the customer were talking quite a lot about things and I kept the distance to maintain respect. However the talking went on for quite some time and even when the customer had been rung through they still remained talking. I was starting to get a bit frustrated and decided to wait a little bit longer however nothing changed and so I left.. I'm very frustrated at the lack of respect that I received when I went into this store. I understand the worker was helping another customer but she could clearly see that I was waiting for assistance and paid absolutely no attention or even cared about the fact that I was there. She even had the audacity to say thank you as I was leaving. Will never go back. Worst first experience going in there. I will go somewhere that I will least feel like I wasn't totally ignored for a long period of time

I love this shop so much! Amazing selection of crystals, literature, cards and more. Very knowledgeable and kind staff as well. Happy to support a local #yyc business during these uncertain times :)

Visited this charming little shop about a week ago. My daughter really loves the crystal that I bought for her. I also bought some sage as well and I love it. It burns really good and smells amazing. I haven't had any this good for years.The store is quite out of the way for us but regardless, I will definitely be going back. The staff was really helpful as well.

Magical. Love this store. You raise your vibration just by spending 5 minutes in the store. Knowledgeable staff and quality crystals. Fabulous book and card deck selection. It quote literally is food for your Soul.
